Idea to make DF raids less annoying for tanks.

Look, this is a mmo. The mmo stands for Massively Multi-player Online. So you play with a bunch of people online. Part of a game like that is social interactions. If that is a problem for you, either work on talking to people thru chat more, or find a different game that doesn't require you to talk to other people to sort issues out like who is going to MT the fight. A simple "Hey <t> want to mt or ot?" is not something that should be an issue. Macro it if you don't have a keyboard.

You're talking to the guy who wants to get his healers and dps killed if they so much as take a single step ahead of him in dungeons. Do you really expect him to have any real idea how to tank beyond some childish "tank is leader, and also I refuse to adjust to anyone because only I'm important" ego trip?

All this thread is gonna be is just Goji arguing in circles and making absolutely zero sense to anyone but himself. Best to let it die before it gets too far along, there's absolutely no reasoning with or changing the dude's mind.

At least we re only talking about DF raids and not Savage ; )

Eh, if this were the case I'd just queue as DPS; for Alliance raids that's usually the faster queue anyways. Truth is I like to MT but I don't like having to jockey for it at the beginning of every run.

Also, you talk about my suggestion like I actually thought it might get added to the game. If I wanted to actually change the game I would've posted this literally anywhere but here; this forum community had been tossed aside as worthless by the developers and game community at large a while ago. I post suggestions here mainly because it's fun to watch you sweet little dim bulbs try to logic your way around them. This has been mostly as predicted. I even successfully predicted and addressed most of your responses in the OP, but of course that didn't stop any of you.

If I stopped responding I wonder how long you would all continue just arguing with no one. ;)

This has literally never been an issue. You're making a problem where there is none just to have a "cool idea" on the forums. If it aint broke dont fix it.

This is something I'd like to see implemented, but I obviously don't think it would ever actually happen. Also, let's not act like it's just me. Everyone knows these forums are SEs blindspot because the forum community is devoid of value; so everyone who posts a suggestion here just wants to watch you all attempt to use your brains to form thoughts, and watch the entertaining downward spiral of that process.

If I couldn't handle people not agreeing with me I probably wouldn't stick around here. A lot of this community is almost to the point of having a vendetta against me, so me posting suggestions here hoping for support is almost entirely pointless; and I wouldn't have it any other way. There are much better places to post ideas for the sake of improving the game; this forum is just about having fun.

There's nothing technically wrong with the suggestion. It's just an semi-involved solution to a problem you don't care about; saying it would break is just the kind of response you get from people who get dramatic and emotional when they don't agree with something. It's these overreactions that make this place so entertaining, though. If you all didn't like the idea you could have easily just said so and moved on, but you get so worked up that you can't. It's like I said earlier, I could probably abandon this thread right now and you'd all just spend days bumping it being 'aghast' and 'outraged,' and arguing with no one. It's happened with so many other threads on this forum.

Whether or not my suggestions are good is immaterial. They may or may not be, but that was never going to be determined here. There was literally no chance of having a real discussion about this, and I knew it when I created the thread. ;)
