Post your Grand Company Weapons!

Yeah kinda sad that the new GC weapons are useless once you have the ifrit/mog i was thinking of getting the spear also but checked with my LS and they all said the GC weapons are pointless to get and to get the GC armor sets which is more useful....sucks too cause they look cool :(

Bahahaha everyone in this thread is pathetic except the OP. Use whatever the fuck you want man, I'm sure you'll still pwn either way. Min/Max noobs need to get a life and worry about their own equips instead of trying to decide how anyone should play. Also, parse or gtfo with your theorycraft. But in all seriousness, how brainless do you have to be to call anything bar "the best" as "useless". There's more than one viable way to do things, even if its not max efficiency. I'd theorycraft about why its not as inferior as ppl think, but i'd rather not. Test it yourself, or be quiet and keep to yourself I say.

He's not going to be gimp because he's not using the best weapon in the game. Do I really need to explain this? Everyone here is so brain dead.

Exactly, People act like I'm using a level 1 Weapon for crying out loud >.>. Its a High-end Hard earned GC Weapon.. that looks cool as shit.. and gets me all the kills I need.. WHILE looking badass doing it.. U Jelly? U mad? @.@

No, he won't "pwn either way". Math doesn't work like that. Also, if there is an efficient way to do something and an inefficient way to do the same thing, you'd have to be pretty dumb to do it the inefficient way. As far as I can tell the GC lance has no niche and will under almost all conditions underperform other weapons that could be considered easier to obtain.

If you want to walk around with it because you think it looks great, go ahead, but really, don't kid yourself into thinking it was a good investment as far as your battle performance goes.

Are you kidding me? There's more than one "efficient" way besides the "best" way. This is what you're failing to understand. You substituted the "most efficient way" for "the only efficient way," completely forgetting about allllll that shit inbetween. So yes, math does work that way. Math tells you what is best, what is not as good, what is terrible, and what is utter garbage. So let me ask you, are all weapon besides Ifrits Harpoon "garbage"? Are they? OF course not. Are they as good. Not they're not. But are you going to run around calling everyone's class garbage because they're not using the best most efficient weapon that exists in the game? No one is disputing your claim to Ifrits being superior, though thats yet to be proven as of now with the new weapons. But I digress from that point. I am disputing your narrow way of thinking that anything inferior to the best gear possible is necessarily garbage.
