On the flip...
I cant think of another sub mmo that basically lets you play the entire original game and all of the first expansion for free until you start paying for an actual sub.
Grinds are part of MMOs to give you a reason to do new content a fair bit. A lot of people enjoy relics and they are popular content.
- Consistency. Patches are just about always on schedule.
- Expansions every 2 years. A lot of MMOs cannot manage this consistency.
- An actually motivated team that people have faith in.
- Lack of bugs. For years I had never seen an actual bug in this game until the pandemic caused me to see them sometimes.
- New content to do with new grinds are released every month on average, keeping you busy for a month.
- Let's not forgot you can eat, sleep and breathe this game for a month for that very small monthly fee. The social interaction and joy it brings for that month is more than worth it.
Are you kidding? It's fantastic. Just look at the localization forum to see how many people are praising Square Enix support https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/937
This has only happened since the pandemic and after expansion releases. Surely you should understand the impact this has had on their development and operations. We get an extra day of play time if the game is unavailable for more than 24 hours, so half a day doesn't qualify for that.
I'm sorry, but you're just wrong. There is no truth to this. :confused:Quote:
they never in history landed a clean patch without a BUG or a glitch . every time theres a patch i know ill lose approximately 24-36 hours of them shutting down and not getting my moneys worth of playtime because theyll mess something up and shut it down to fix it another 8 times in a row then the next patch drops and you know youre about to lose another 36 hours of 6 hours each to fix the first patch they dropped .
noticed the OP is still obviously "researching" the "40%" figure that has zero factual basis
