There's no rule that says they have to.
Some people like going in blind for fights, regardless if it's savage.



If you don't want these people in your PF, then clearly mention they should watch the video/know the strats in the description.
That's the whole point of party finder - finding people fitting a given setup/description.

Some people don’t learn from videos, they learn from experience.

I’m one of those people. I could watch a video of a fight ten times before I play it, and I’m still not going to get it until I’ve played through it myself.
Some also prefer to run content blind, they view gameplay content as spoilers. Fair enough that they should then run the content with like-minded people if that’s the case, but still. If a ‘learning’ party hasn’t specified that everyone ‘should know the fight already’ then it seems like fair play to me.

I remember being call out in Gordias Savage, in DF. The content is outdated but I took a long break so I back in those content with I think il18X or il190. I have previously clear that content with doing proper mechanics, and being call out because my dps can’t skip all the mechanics. I may not have 100% optimises my rotation but pretty sure my rotation is correct, only issue is about lining up my CD and oGCD. I am not being call out about my rotation but my equipment. The truth is there are always some people miss use those tool and they are not rare. More like true raider are rarer

DPS classes refusing to use their AoE skills because "reasons" it's not that uncommon. IMO, after all the changes, there is no longer a reason to not use that combo when appropriate. To me, is an extremely disrespectful behaviour against the rest of the party.

A farming/clear party is not a practice party. I personally always join practice parties when I'm learning new roles and I also avoid joining a farming party right away after my first clear, and sure, mistakes happens and it should not be a big deal, but once again, totally clueless players that should not be at a farming party are a reality.

Literally confused how you think bringing in a third party program and telling them their numbers is even helping them.

It's completely possible to help people without needing to use numbers, ACT or FFlogs. If you can't? That's on you, and shows a lack of actually understanding of the game if you think numbers are the only way to address issues.

You do know that the players servers come up in their profile when they post?So you can see which players are from us or eu servers.Most of them are from US servers that are making said kind of posts.Im not saying it doesnt hapen on EU servers but it deffintly seeming to be a much bigger issue on the NA data centres which leads me to believe its related to a different cultural attitude towards gaming from NA thats the root of the issue.

That’s fair enough, IF you have a PF that explicitly lays out those rules, but that’s not what JohnSpawn was talking about. He means in general, in all content. People don't go into a Savage clear party and say things like "you don't pay my sub."

If the PF listing you mention, you’re not pretending that your hard stance is about “teamwork”, you’re admitting that you don’t have the patience to help people learn, that’s why you’re specifying it.

It is.
European players are on one point far more "Selfish" in that we are way less social when it comes to interactions with other people.
Which also means we have less conflicts in party chats because we simply talk less.
When's the last time you had a fun conversation in party chat while running a dungeon?


The culture between US and EU in general is just day and night difference.
We value different things important.

That's mainly because there's a greater number of non-English-speakers on the EU servers.
But I still have random conversations with people into random content, and very rarely have arguments.

But for dungeons like the Burn etc, there's really no need for this to happen. Basic dungeons are just that, folks can be carried through it. The only time I do chime in; is when I ask the tank to put on their tank stance - since a lot forget to reapply - or for dps to AoE if I know they have them. My friend and I do tend to gauge it though, like if we can do a long pull or not. blah blah.

Definitely,i mean Titania EX was my first EX Trial. I started back at February but i was scared to join due to some of them being older content and ppl having expectations[i like running stuff blind,like i did with Eden and i loved it]
with ShB i had the chance to be on equal terms with everyone learning etc and it was a blast,i learned a lot to improve on things,luckily i met some friends so i didnt have to deal with fflogs and harassing,and my new FC is quite small with 3-4 ppl active and we do things together! I care about my dps in a way everyone does but i will never care for more than i need too,if i dont do well in the dummy tester or dont feel pleased about the result believe ill try to figure out what to improve or ask my friends who are more experienced than me in classes!
