You clearly don't understand what it is to be childish, because if you did, you'd recognize that you are the exact same. For many people, BLU as it currently is designed ruined the job. Nothing of what you listed here is restricted to BLU, you realize that, right? Literally the only unique content that BLU gets is the carnival, and as described, it's just a bunch of boss fights except you fight them alone instead of with a group. How long do you think that'll last for, exactly? Do you think that'll be an hour long affair or something?

Did I say that? I said I wanted full jobs AND the fun side content. I want both sides to get what they want. If that means that limited jobs have to fail first to make SE act then okay.

I don't want to see blu be dead for good if/when the limited jobs idea fails. I want SE to take more time if that's necessary to give the types of content that both groups want instead.

"A lot of us would rather see THIS version of limited jobs crash and burn" how would you interpret that? You may have also asked for a BLU more akin to current jobs with your statement but prefaced it with wanting to have the current design crash and burn. Why wish for something that people are looking forward to, to crash and burn? Voice that you want it to change, but if it comes to pass that I get to play the BLU I wish to play why hope that the content fails? Just keep voicing you want change, but don't hope that other peoples enjoyment crashes and burns because things didn't turn out the way you hoped.

Use the full version of what I said instead of being disingenuous. Does "limited jobs crash and burn" mean that it would be removed? No, it would mean it would still be there and then SE could work towards making content for your side AND my side. Stop acting like this is a zero-sum game. It doesn't have to be "1-1=0". Should look at it like "1+waitforthe1 = MORE happy players".

I wasnt being disigenenuous I even quoted you fully in my initial reply and mentioned what your statement said in the one you just quoted. And when has crash and burn ever meant "I want what I said should crash and burn to still be there and just change it over time to something else". What you said isnt meshing well with this pseudo middle ground stance you're bringing up now.

You were being disingenuous in the post that I quoted because you cut my statement down to mean something else than I meant. You're putting all the focus on the words I used and not adding in the context. I want "THIS version of limited jobs crash and burn and we get FULL jobs AND fun side content" meaning that if/when they see it fail and are talking about what to do with it that they choose "overhaul based on the feedback" instead of letting it die. If I meant that I wanted the whole thing to die I would have used that word.

Maybe we both need to be clearer with what we are saying. Your post made it sound like you think I want what you're excited for to be just pulled out of the game and what I want to then be added.

I obviously can't say if I like this iteration of BLU because I haven't tried it yet. But I am super hyped and looking forward to testing it out (along with the whole "limited" job system in general.)

You might have meant: "I don't think that Blue Mage should always remain a limited job. I applaud SE for providing us with a new gaming environment, and I hope it is successful, so that they are encouraged to explore the possibility of developing the so-called limited jobs into full jobs as they learn the nuances of these non-structured player jobs and work to bring current content to incorporate those jobs."

You didn't say that. There was no context in your original message beyond "this concept of blue mage is not worthy of surviving" simply because its first iteration is limited to level 50 and no matched instances.

What you don't realize is that if this limited job crashes and burns, the entire concept goes with it. There will be no further development on any job outside the quest-craft-raid cycle. It is what you told SE you wanted.

And you realize that, while the first iteration of blue mage is limited to level 50 and no matched instances, they also indicated future levels and future content?

You realize that the naysayers are in arms, not because there's a brand new concept in game, but because their oh-so-desired 'main' can't engage in all of the content at release?

You realize that this currently limited job is going to be introduced into the game at the end of this expansion, when any and all new content is welcome? And that it might not be so limited once SE has data showing how it plays out in 'set party instances'?

Get back to me when you actually do all of that content in an hour.
