Way to put words in my mouth. True, I'm not currently doing alpha savage. Our FC can't currently field a full party and based on the amounts of fail I've seen in normal alphas I'm not inclined to try savages with randoms. My friends share this sentiment. We have some recent recruits so hopefully at some points we will have enough active members. It remains to be seen if that happens before the next expansion or not.Quote:

He probably mentioned that he was using it for the roll to help the rest of ya, you don't tell others your money making schemes, unless you don't mind them competing with you. He was probably giving the rest of you a clear hint on a way to make money.
And now you posting it on the forums will make people see it and try the same thing, it would probably dent his profits. A little bit of a dick move.
If the orchestrion roll sells for around a mil, then that's three accessories they could buy (if going by my servers prices). This means that it's more time and cost effective to trade in the bolt for the roll and buy the accessories, and you can meld more materia on crafted items. Or, you can just keep the money, considering money doesn't become obsolete like gear does in ffxiv.

I was once in a garuda farm party for people getting the garuda mount, back in ARR. I had the garuda mount already, but I was helping them out, and only wanted the nightmare. We ended up getting 20+ clears, and out of luck, most of them ended up getting the garuda horse. Towards the end, The party agreed that if a nightmare mount dropped, they would pass it for me, since I wanted that mount and helped them get all their mounts. When the nightmare dropped.. 5 of them still rolled need on it, despite them saying they would pass. Now thats going against loot etiqutte a bit, since they stated they would pass, but didn't.
Luckily I got an 88 roll and won anyway. :D -

I'd advise all the people defending that rolling on loot for Gil, over letting someone else gear up, to look up what happened when 24 man raids were Greed Only. Hey, it was FFA so it was pretty ok and fair. :D

Ah, fair enough then, if that's how it went down, then it's understandable why you got a bit mad, especially with the "your bolts" bit.
He might of meant your in a general term though, and (based on your recollection) you didn't ask if you could have the bolts, and still left without really talking about it. It could have been handled better, and your actions could have still hurt your friend. When in doubt, talk it out. :P -
