First attempt failed. I got the error the min I logged in on that ship. "Unable to detect directx. Shutting down. Please restart Final Fantasy XIV"

Think I should just call Dell and yell at them to help me fix it?

Try one more thing before the Bios attempt.

Go to Manage 3D Settings, Global Settings tab, then select the high-performance NVidia card.

I selected that Fiosha. I'll try second attempt.

LOL you could sure. Did you try the link I sent you and restarting your computer and hitting the Delete key? O.o If your unsure of what you see, just look at the screen that comes up and tells us what you see...maybe we can get you working tonight/day ...depending on time zone >.< lol

Hold up, you have a slight problem.. FFXIVBoot.exe is not the game itself. You gotta do it for FFXIVgame.exe

I read dozens of posts from people who talked to dell about this problem and got no where, but feel free to try. I do highly recommend you do what i said to do but to the file FFXIVGame.exe

Okay I removed the FF14boot one from the list. I search the list and can't find FFXIVgame.exe on the list. I click Add and type it in I get this..

FFXIVgame.exe
Final Not Found
Please check the file name and try again.
