Stormblood stat weights?

Some more followup. I added 3 pieces of 320 today, but they're mucking with the stat caps. Went from 2241 mnd / 1154 crit / 1462 det / 1004 sps to 2264 / 1267 / 1299 / 1139 . Despite adding mind, crit, and sps, the loss of det shows up in the parse. This early in the patch, det seems really strong for whm.

I wont go det until i get confirmation that it's not bad.

Well it still increase damage and heals et they said it has been buffed but don't know how much.
Still taking Crit as a priority.

You must be over healing then, I'm doing just fine, with 20134 Mp as WHM. If you ask me, SpS/Crit for WHM, we have 3 Hots right now and with the buff to hots and dots in 4.0 it a Big jump for us, Iv been solo healing both ex fight just fine. The Crit is nice for the Crit heal and Crit hots.

But like many have said, there is no wrong way to meld a WHM, it more based on how you play WHM, if your like me and want more powerful hot and bigger Crit you meld/build gear to SpS/Crit.

Prioritising Crit > Det > SpS for the moment.

This is more or less accurate, and Dervy didn't dispute it while commenting on the same thread. All the math I've done and tests I've done show Det to be king for WHM right now. Math says Crit and SpS after that are about the same, but all of my tests on dummies and exs put SpS ahead of Crit. Sadly, as I continue to upgrade gear, they keep putting stricter caps on Det and SpS.

Of course, you can certainly wait another month to meld, if you don't deal well with uncertainty. I don't expect melds will matter much until O4S.

IDK if I'm allowed to post DPS numbers here on the official forums.

But for my sch my damage has been VASTLY higher going Crit > D.H

If a piece lets you gain at least 30 Crit from a grade 6 slot it in otherwise use D.H

I am going crit > spell speed > det and sustaining 8-10k in ex/savage raids. Seems fine to me.
