Final Predictions: Who shall die in 4.0

Hopefully Alphinaud

Im sorry if anyone likes him but I hated him since I started playing this game.

As for the others I don't care as long as we can have some epic bloody revenge ;)

Y'shtola. She is currently dying due to MSQ effects.

Tataru. She keeps putting herself in dangerous situations she can't handle.

Alphinaud or Alise. One of these two insufferable brats is going to die.

Raubahn. The bull from Ala Mihgo will be put to the sword in his homeland.

I predict Alphinaud will die and that Raubahn will leave Thanalan to help rebuild his home, possibly becoming someone important there. Y'shtola "dying" in the trailer will be a Red Herring. The scene with Krile being sealed I assume will be a sacrifice that saves Y'shtola as she is dying currently in the story, all be it slowly. She is the face of the Game outside the game after all second only really to the WoL.

The Garlean spy Tataru will survive all threats against her as always.

I like these bets. And they actually make sense. The Y'shtola attack looks very bad but they wouldn't really show a fatal wound so blatantly. Raubahn staying in his homeland makes sense. Ul'dah can manage without him. That Krile thing looks a lot like a sacrefice. Saving the poster girl sounds like a pretty good cause. And Matoya is too funny to be the sacreficial lamb. Girlpants had his time in HW and his death could enable the more interesting of the Leveilleur twins to stop being a secretary and show off her sword skills.

Of all my guesses the one I actually hope for is Alphinaud dying and Alise taking his place. I cant stand him for the same reason I cant stand people like him in real life. I'm a pragmatic man and can't stand whining and feeling sorry for yourelf and that's what this guy did for most if not all of HW. Always getting to the fight late just to hang his head and feel ashamed he left the work to us.

Alise on the other hand showed up, told him to grow a pair, then told us to hold her purse while she charged up a Limit Break and actually helped us smack down the Warriors of Darkness. If I lived in a fantasy world, that's who I would want following me around.

Who will die? Obviously the Dragoons, Ninja's who can't dodge, Back Mages who stand in their leylines despite them being in the bad and (according to the forums) White Mages as a whole.

I really liked the Alisaie arc in the final months of HW. She went from 'meh' to 'my new waifu' in a very short time. Hopefully she will continue to grow in Stormblood.

Tataru can go. That outfit she designed for us? Unforgivable.

Alisae has red and Alphinaud has blue in both old and new gear. Alisae is also a Red Mage. I think their fate has been revealed long ago in this poem:

Alisae will travel east with us and Alphinaud will be lost (dead or kidnapped?) in the western war. No idea what will happen to other characters though.

heres my predictions for the end of the 4.x seiries.

Y'shtola wont die and if she does it will be RIGHT at the end.
Alease will be mortaly wounded.
Yugiri will die,
the mercernary woman from garlamald controlled ala meego will die.
the doma "step on me lady" will die,
annnnnd i am going to say krille will be the one to be fully axed off from the scions.
