Dueling? With the PvP rules? Can you say "horrendously and inescapably unbalanced"? Only fast, high burst DPS would see victory during all that. Tanks have the survivability but can't bring the damage and, if cleric stance is still off bounds, healers would also be in a bad position for obvious reasons.
Here is the deal, the moves we all use are tuned for PvE and all those internal mechanics and job quirks are a hindrance in PvP. It says A LOT when the job itself makes you easy prey during PvP.
Here is a suggestion from me: The moves we always use? Get rid of them for PvP stuff. Make a new set of moves with animations and even names from the regular ones but with effects wholly oriented for the PvP scene. Ignore the job trinity, ignore a jobs "standing" in a party and make each job be able to stand up to other jobs.
