Customary "When are summoners getting new summons" thread

Scholars are arcanists too. They shouldn't be excluded from arcanist pet glamour.

Calling it now (really just again), it's going to be advertised as a 4.X feature the way it was advertised to be a 3.X feature back in 2.X. Lol, you guys still think that egi glamours are going to make it before the expansion. Hahaha, rich.

What I think is sad is that people are holding their breath for glamours and not actual egis. Screw glamours. I want Leviathan, Shiva and Ramuh.

It just reflects the fact that people have different tastes.
Don't know where this sits in the devs priority list, pretty low down I'd suggest. Of course I'd like to see both options, so we'll see what happens.

SCHs are already excluded from having Carbys the moment you unlock the Job. This would hardly be any different.

They hardly 'advertised' it to begin with. People just got ahead of themselves and took "we're planning to add Egi glamours" as "it's coming in HW launch guys!" and ran with it. Only fault I put on SE is them declaring it before actually looking into the logistics of it first.

What I find sad is when people still whine and cry for things SE have already emphatically stated that they're not going to do.

Three more Egis to leave in permanent storage, while we use nothing but Garuda-Egi instead! ;)

I am definitely interested to see what their plans, if any, are for the summoner/scholar moving forward. While I would be somewhat disappointed to see them de-emphasize the pets on these two pet classes, others here seem sort of excited about it, so I can't really discount the possibility that it would also be enjoyable. Personally, I'd prefer MORE emphasis on the pet, but I also happen to be that person who always chooses the pet class in every game they play. =D

Side note, but serious business tho- if they let us swap which hand our character holds the book on, that would be super. It messes with me every time I see my character writing with his left hand. I know there are lots of left handed people out there, but I have a hard time imagining my character as one of them =D

I hope SE sticks with the whole trance thing it's more fun in my opinion. GJ SE. I prefer it how it is now pet assist me (bit of extra dmg) and I do majority of the dmg. If they made it so you just control the pet they would be a very lazy job in my opinion.
