Customary "When are summoners getting new summons" thread

The horse was looking a little ripe, so I figured it needed a good beating.

For real though... every time I see this picture I remember why I don't really feel any love for the aesthetics of my summoner.

Could we please see some new skins for this soon? I had heard there were some in the works for Heavensward release... and nada.

They've been confirmed to be coming in 3.4. We don't know specifically which ones yet, however, besides also regaining the ability to switch back to Carbuncle.

In the live letter prior to 3.3 Yoshi confirmed that the first pet glamours would be coming in 3.4. They said it would include Carbuncles but beyond that we're not sure exactly what's coming yet. Probably only one of the Shiva/Ramuh/Leviathan egis, if any just yet. They plan to release them gradually over several patches.

They have only confirmed that Summoners would get a glamour EGI feature in 3.4 (plans can be changed), right now we only know that we are getting Carbuncle, no clue on which Carbuncle we are getting, but ingame we have seen 4 of them, Emerald and Topaz is used by the Arcanist class and Ruby and Onyx is used by a NPC. I want to see Shiva, Ramuh, Leviatian and the other Primal Egi. Yoshida did say that they are going to release one EGI glamour each patch, so since Carbuncle has been confirmed for 3.4, unless Yoshida meant a new EGI each patch, I reckon we will not see a real new EGI untill 3.5, that is assuming we are going to start getting the EGI glamour feature in 3.4.

I didn't know the egi-glamour was so close or that Shiva, Ramuh and Leviathan could be on the cards. I might get back into Summoning.

I still wish spur made your pet temporarily grow 40% in size to match the buff though.

I might start playing summoner again when they let us use the carbuncle glamor for egi. I know they are putting a lot of resources into a more elaborate system but I would be fine with just reverting to the arcanist's carby pet and nothing more. I think lots of people will use carbuncle.

I will never be satisfied with my summoner until I have a tiny Shiva alongside me to match with the rest of my character's theme :c Hopefully we'll get lucky and get at least the other three ARR primals alongside some carbuncle glamours when 3.4 hits (if they actually stick to what they said and give it to us then..)

Thing that makes me wonder though, are they simply skins like with our glamour or will they be a glamour per role. Like that Shiva can only glamour over Ifrit or Garuda but not over Titan and so on with the others.
