I made my claim, you made yours. What do you have to back up your claim? I see Ul'dah busy as ever, and I see more people in the other cities too, whereas pre-1.18 Gridania was a ghost town.
Everything in this paragraph is either untrue or nonsense, or both, with the possible exception of the last sentence since I don't know how much gil you have (I have 1.6 million, for the record), and I don't know what you spend your time doing in game except for the times when I end up near you by coincidence and you feel the need to try and start a fight with me for no reason. Sad, but not surprising that you once again turn to personal attacks.
You can't sell gear that drops in the dungeons.
More speculation without evidence. I'm pretty low on the totem pole in both my LS's, and it took me until last night to get my Alpine Jacket from darkhold, but I finally got it.
Ps3 won't have its own server when it comes out, they assume the game will be good enough at that time retain a lot of the ps3 population. If they don't, I think then they will talk about server merging.
This topic is about server merging/transferring, not your mucho-macho show boating near the wards.
The thing is, many people find it hard to do content, or find parties, on low-population servers, so even if it is an inconvenience to transfer servers/merge, then it will probably help SE retain players who might otherwise leave due to low population numbers.
Leaving servers to become ghost towns is probably a greater inconvenience in the long run.
Like what others have said, Wutai is not that underpopulated. Same as Trabia. Both Wutai and Trabia are some of the most socially active servers and they can look kind of dull at the moment. Most of us here have nothing to do now other than our leve resets/locals. We've done Darkhold to death. lol
Download 1.19 and watch how active wutai will suddenly become.
Once the game is, in SE's opinion, worth charging a subscription fee for, then yes.
Once the game has been released for the PS3 (and is therefore fully released as originally planned), then yes.
Right now, the game is unfinished. I don't even think you could call this a beta. It's a unique situation where we are able to play a game that is still in development.

The Devs have let me know that they would like to implement a new party recruitment system for the Dungeons. They're also thinking about World-Transfers. But they can't give me a roadmap for this yet.

World Transfers are likely coming, but not in the foreseeable future. /end thread.
