Those tracks were going to mor dona imperial base to the one inside the shroud. It was said to be for a rapid large troop transport/ supplies

Listen to that and tell me that its not the same when those moogles are giving their names, they ripped Nightmare Before Christmas, Mog's Theme from FFVI and Critter Tripper Fritter from FFV, but the cadence is absolutely taken from Nightmare. But that is a completely different topic.
On topic: I could have sworn Yoshi-P said when they were showcasing the new maps (before 2.0 actually launched) that it was in fact tracks for a train not for minecarts. -

Ive always wondered thst as well. Kind of hoped that they might actually add a train at some point, as battle atop a speeding train coukd make for an awesome Guildhest.

Yes, but there are no lyrical components in the 1992 Moogle Theme, which is what is taken from Nightmare Before Christmas, which is what I was pointing out in the youtube link (as it starts with the part of the vocals that was sampled into Moggle Mog Theme).

That's not correct - as I mentioned earlier the railway between Castrum Meridanium and Castrum Centri is a completely separate line from the railway in Central Thanalan - the tracks don't even look the same because they were built and are owned by different countries, the former naturally owned and operated by the Garlean Empire.Quote:
