i don't mind doing the quests... but i hope it's not only related to the dungeons..... i hope the quests are like the start up quests for the company..... i really don't do the dungeons yet... and i really want a personal choco so ...... ^ ^

Hmm..maybe? But remember the cutscene of the 2 Lalas from the mining guild that called their chocobos? They did not use a whistle. They used their fingers as whistles....interesting if we can do that in game like a clickable "Call your chocobo" icon and then an animation of your character using fingers to call the chocobo... now that more realistic looking and not boring as having an "issued-whistle" that's too predictable :)

would be interesting if they did something like pokemon...you had to have your chocobo aquire a certain skill to get to a new area or something...cut, surf, etc.

I wonder what's the purpose of walking beside your chocobo?

It sounds like chocobos will have some unique purpose to them in XIV after all.
