Idea to stop resetting hunt mobs!

Stealth isn't god mode FYI and unless you're high level enough it has a level limit as well, a lvl 20 stealth wont hide you from lvl 50 monsters.

That mob mentality, you have no idea how fun it is to fight elites dealing with mechanics when there isn't a horde of people killing them in a few seconds or the elite disappearing, 20 people is more than enough to take down an S rank, even the hard ones like Mor Dhona's.

Also stealth mode doesn't protect you from aoes if people happen to fight a mark near you.

But it's not for a good chunk of them, the guy I was responding to even said his party was mostly dead.

On my server I always have main threat on any S rank I go to, and I can tell you none of them have one shot cleaves. They more likely died from whatever mechanic the hunt was using. What zone was it, Mcshiggs?

You really have reading comprehension issues...

To make it simple: of his party of 5 only one person died, out of the whole group of ~20 people several casters/healers died, they only died because of the attempt to reset, not because they tried to 20-man it, S ranks weren't designed to be mobbed like odin or behemoth and that has been said by SE several times, even before the hunts came out.

That isn't even possible, none of the S ranks have the ability to kill you from running past you or one shot cleaves. More like the guy tanking it saw people dropping like flies and realized they should wait for more help so he reset it. They also have more HP than the T8 boss, which takes about 11-12 minutes for 8 i100~ people to kill without deaths.

If the elite you're resetting has quick casting attacks it is very possible to cast a few while it's being dragged out of the fight zone, like Mor Dhona's and his skill Grand Sword, you could be in a safe zone and not get hit by Grand Sword, then someone tries to reset it and makes it so you're in the middle of the cone (you cannot avoid this attack if you are in the middle)

He/she wa not in Mor Dhona or way more than 20 people would have shown up, so that is not the issue. This person is just making up a BS reason why his/her party was wiped and now you're trying to vehemently defend them for no apparent reason? Think logically for a moment. Other than the one S rank guaranteed to have 50+ people at it, what S rank can do a massive unavoidable cleave that one shots people?
