How are you handling your Novus upgrade?

Having read 40 something pages of this thread I've decided to go 3 stats on my Omnilex. Since it seems that you're required to move to higher grade materia after putting a certain number of a specific grade onto the scroll (ie: Savage Aim I for the first 11 successful melds, then Savage Aim II for the next 11 ...etc) I'll be stopping at 30 Crit. I really have no desire to buy/SB the number of SA IV that I'd need to get the scroll all the way to 44 crit. Nor risk blowing up SA III once the meld chance drops around 60%. I figure a SCH needs 459 PIE to break 5k MP (5005 if my formula is correct), if you throw in Pineapple Juice HQ and a party bonus, I'd need 429 PIE.

So in conclusion, I'll be scrolling : 30 Crit, 20 PIE , 25 Det
(Subject to change my mind down the road...again)

Accuracy, because I doubt we will ever have a different weapon with accuracy and sometimes that extra dps is a larger difference then any amount of healing.

I'm not sure yet, but I think I'll go either 44 crit + 31 det or 31 det + 33 pie + 11 crit on my Thyrus.

Just curious why no one say crit is bad for whm now? I read many many whm said crit is the worst choice for them previously ^^;

I don't like crit, but some people do. It depends on how you like to play.

For sch, max det > max crit > rest on pie

Welp, I was hoping to be satisfied with the Yagrush, but now I have to actually do this atma grinding business because the Thyrus Novus actually won't suck after I blow my social life on spirit bonding enough materia to max meld.

It is only bad for healing.
It is good for DPS.
