How is the RMT Tell Spam on your Server?

I just turn off the /tell system I mostly just use FC/LS to chat know anyways.

It's not too bad, compared to GW2. I logged into the main hub yesterday and received about 15 different RMT tells in the space of less than five minutes.

Based on the posts in this thread, it seems as though RMT bots are purposely targeting characters/players who aren't level 50. They're steering away from servers where characters are more developed and in less need of their "services" while preying on newer players such as the ones who recently joined after the PS4 launch.

Mateus is awful. As I just posted in another thread, the spammers have actually resorted to shouting/yelling/saying in the main cities because most of us have to turn our status to busy (with our blacklists being full). Sometimes I can get 3 or 4 tells before my screen has even loaded. :(

Diabolos is pretty active RMT-wise. Today I had the pleasure of /throwing something at one though which made me feel a little better.

I'm shocked. Completely and utterly shocked. I logged on and didn't get an RMT /tell right away. I stayed logged in for more than twenty minutes and still didn't get one. I hung around Ul'dah. Either the RMTers weren't active there for some reason or the GMs did a blanket ban of them on Gilgamesh recently.

always check the notice part of the lodestone, it has updates of when and how many accounts they ban for rmt and other illegal actions. last sweep was the 15th.

I get one tell a week usually...

In our server is very minimal, here is a strong community that does not buy Gil or powerlevel, and the few RMT that comes here, will go away after a while because it seems they realize this server is a waste of time for them.

If you have a zergload of RMT spamming there, it is maybe because you have a zerload of idiots who buy their services.

in Famfrit, we get RMT tells EVERYDAY.. it's very horrible here.. i blacklist around 10 people per day.. sometime it's more than 10.. it's very horrible and annoying. i'm surprised other server is quite clean..
