"It's not Brayflox, so I quit." - The DR Quitters Issue

Under the current system, forefeitting the bonus would be a good idea, but not an effective one. The system isn't flawless, and plenty of people know how to exploit it. Trolling, vote abandon spam, vote kicks for petty reasons. . . there are too many ways to play it against someone, fair or unfair. Penalizing soldiery would only drive people away from dungeons and roulettes once again, so the answer isn't necessarily to stack penalties.

I read the first post. I usually do expert roulette as tank for instant proc, and I do want to dodge amdapor every time. Not because it's amdapor, but because Im supposed to be randomly put in bray, halatali or amdapor, yet I get 90% amdapor. Sometimes its 4 DR people, and we get fckin amdapor. Its just boring after 10-15 times. Now I threaten every team to leave if they sux, just because the random is no random and is amdapor.

Give players 3 dungeons in a roulette, make all of them trivial and boring, then make 2 of them take 50% longer than the third. This is the recipe for all the DR problems. Roulette is needed for tomes but it's so unfun and such a chore that people want it over fast. Just another example of SE not really knowing anything about MMOs and not really bothering to learn from other games what does and doesn't work.

As a healer I like queueing for parties in progress, because I get groups who are closer to the last boss for eazy soldiery ^^ But I feel the solution is to add incentive to complete the dungeon, such as a higher Myth bonus for killing the last boss. Or take away myth from the previous bosses and give it to the final boss only, and replace the drop with Soldiery.

Or change Brayflox HM's layout so it's not an easy speedrun to begin with.

I quit amdapor/halatali even if i queue as dps, they are not fun, take too long, would rather idle and requeue. Blame SE for making dungeons worthless other than the roulette reward.

Because dungeons that take only 5 minutes longer than brayflox is really that bad huh?

Or is it because you just don't know how to do the doors at Diabolos? Pffth. Cause really, neither Halatali nor Lost City of Amdapor isn't that long, and is frankly more fun than Brayflox.



Frankly, the penalty for abandoning Duty, (Especially Duty Roulette) isn't harsh enough.

That's your opinion, and while I won't bash it, I strongly disagree. Both versions of Brayflox have never really held my interest. Halatali actually has, by FAR. Enemies can be debuffed by luring them under the maces. The first boss and the "safe zone" mechanic. The entire second boss fight. Enemies that mimic your party's abilities. . . Lost City is VERY interesting too, with several interesting mechanics. The first boss targets a single party member and "traps" them. The second boss' debuff/stack management. Baalzephon & Magestones (some of which can be taken out carefully by ranged DPS before you even pull it). Diabolos and the doors. . .

What is Brayflox HM? Another enemy gauntlet with some aoe dodging. It even has a rehashed song, like we don't have enough of those in dungeons already.

As it stands now, there is no penalty. (The 30m penalty is bugged.)
