My favorite was queuing for a low-level roullette, and getting myself + 3 others in Sastasha, all with Relics and Darklight or better.. so the system is a bit screwy currently.

How about the highest level instance the group can do? It's already "Random" in the sense that you have no idea who you are being grouped with and what that highest level dungeon will be, but at least that way you are likely to give people the best option for their level and the group. As an example, if you have a level 32, a 41 and two 50s, running Brayflox (I think that's the 32) is better for all of them than Sastasha... better loot options/exp for the non-50s and a wider swath of available skills for the 50s so they don't have to drop half of their action bar.
It would be cool if they split it up, and did Low Level, Middle level(?), and High level, and then Story mode roulette. That is what I thought it was going to be like D: I am about sick and tired of the level 15,16,17,20 dungeons xD
I have literally done tam tara every day since 2.1, except for one copperbell, halatali, and two sastasha runs. It's to the point where I don't queue for roulette because tam pops every single time. I'm all for giving the lowbies a leg up, but you can't honestly tell me that every player under 50 is queuing for tam tara. Just some variety, that's all I'm asking for
(1) Content that already have someone waiting and is lacking players.
versus
(2) Content that are played less in general, even if nobody is queued for it.
Please make it (1), not (2).
The reason is that when I'm leveling, I want to update my gear as well, and it is impossible to do that if I keep getting lower level content. For that reason, I'll be designating content, not using the Roulette. Now if the Roulette doesn't prioritize my content and let me wait there for half an hour, while other level 50s are getting Sastasha in 5 minutes, it seems to be missing the point of the Roulette altogether.
At any given time. Everyone in queue is able to enter Sastasha and Copperbell, while only a percentage of those people are going to be able to do any other dungeon.
To compound that dungeon selection seems to be random, so even if you do get a higher level group you've still got a good chance of doing a sub 20 dungeon.
It'd be really nice if the dungeon system biased itself toward level appropriate dungeons so you'd only run Sastasha if the person in the group was actually 15 or 16 and that a group of all 30s would be more liable to get Haukke or Brayflox and a group of all 50s would be more liable to get Darkhold or Vale.
I like it the way it is or at least leave out the farming dungeons ie WP I never ever do WP via DF (pug) due to always getting players who want to speed run it and for me I hate that type of game play or at least make it so we can use either party finder or group up with FC members then run it via DF.
