DRG, no question. It's the only way DRG damage is remotely competitive.

So is the original complete 'rotation' from page 1 still the most effective?
I've seen some of you testing out various combinations since the patch and I'm wondering if a new, improved, godly dps combo has been discovered. :DQuote:

Plus Mercy Stroke soon as the mob hits 20%.
The principals have remain largely untouched, but due to a few changes to CD's and some theorycrafting by members of this post a few tricks of the trade have popped up so to speak.
This recent guide is pretty up to date: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...eview?sle=true
I'm just wondering. Anyone done some numbers lately on DRG? Hard to rly find anything. Youtube full of Nin parses. So hard to say what counts as competitive currently.
Numbers on what exactly?
DPS ofc.

I did a 590 DPS 3 minute parse on my i123 DRG with Black Truffle, X-Pot, Party Buff no Mercy Stroke if that counts for anything. I dislike 3 minute parses however. It fell to like 575-580ish after 4 mins
I did 620 with dreadwyrm spear and pt buff on 4m(no pots, no food, no mercy stroke)
I feel like i can reach 630 depending on rng.
Makes me sad though, that i see a Ninja doing 660 on 3m on reddit ;_;
Typically a little less than 620 at 3 minutes and a little more than 600 at 4 minutes. Potion, chocobuff, food. Set used: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/PPKC (T13 flank accuracy)
