PS3 controls for Final Fantasy XIV detailed in Famitsu
In this week’s Famitsu, details have emerged for the control scheme of the Playstation 3 port of Final Fantasy XIV. Those features are listed below:
- Much like the PC version, the player can set up an XMB style menu to access main commands
- Every in-game action can be given an icon (and color coded as well, should you choose to do so)
- Players will control commands through use of the shoulder buttons and the d-pad. The d-pad will be assigned to controlling the four horizontal lines at the bottom of the screen. Commands will be split among Up, Down, Left, and Right. L2 and R2 will allow you to switch between the groups. A maximum of eight commands can be accessed with combination of d-pad and shoulder buttons
- Macros can be set just like the PC version. By pressing both shoulder buttons at the same time, you are able to choose from different palettes. Eight macros can be assigned to a palette, however… Even though eight are accessible, it is not common for a class to have all. Each class will be allowed to register their sets individually

First off, at ARR starting point all current player characters location will be adjusted (moved) and for all existing Aetheryte in current version will lose it's power so all the Aetheryte in ARR world will be new. For the reason behind why the Aetheryte lost it's power will be told through ARR so please wait it.
このように、新生版開始時にはシステム的にテレポに関する情報がリセットされるため、新生版開始時にいきなりどこでもテレポできるようにはなりません。
For above reason at the start of ARR the teleport information will be reset through system so you wont be able to teleport anywhere you want from beginning.

Yeah, I thought I remembered something like that being mentioned in an earlier Q&A. You'll have to run around and reattune with all the aetherytes again since the areas are drastically changing.

Since bazaar is going away I guess it's good question, they didn't say nothing about if repair request going away yet though I think.Quote:

The specifics aren't confirmed yet but we are looking into addressing this issue. In ARR we are making adjustments so there wont be situations where because you saw the event scene you couldn't beat it within the time limit so please don't worry.

I see people being rushed to skip cutscene during a fight was an issue among the JP too. That was a pretty recent topic in NA forums.
