So does that somehow magically cancel out the part where you said there'd be tons more gilsellers without said deterrent? Did you say that and immediately contradict yourself?
I don't think you did. So I'm responding to that assertion by saying I don't think it's as much of a deterrent as you think it is. We get annoyed about little things like that because they eat into the time we have to play this game, which we do for fun. The gilsellers probably couldn't care less because they don't DO this for fun. It's their job. It's not supposed to be fun. They'll gladly sit through the intro a hundred times, it doesn't really affect them.
So maybe you could actually answer my question. Why do we have to be inconvenienced by anything just because it marginally inconveniences gilsellers as well?
Edit: I'm sorry for the hostile attitude, by the way, but I'm really bothered by this attitude that "anything that inconveniences gilsellers is ok because it inconveniences gilsellers." You could justify pretty much anything with that. "Well, the servers are locking people out with 1017 twelve hours a day but let's not fix that 'cause it's keeping the gilsellers out too!" I already feel like the mail restrictions cross a line in that regard.
