When people do two jobs then there is nothing wrong with being rewarded for two jobs. I would prefer the pile over having to gather the mats myself - even though it's crafting part, the actual crafting takes like 10% of time while the gathering the mats 90%.

The system would be okay, if it was managed better.
EX: If all worlds are on the same pace, it should be limited. If a world or two fall behind, activate it for that world to encourage others to visit that world.
That's my 2c on it. Given the way it started, and all worlds being pretty even, I don't see it being a necessary addition to allow world visits until needed.

I think the progress need have a daily cap, to let everyone enjoy some content that seems being burned after only a few days from release.
Let's say a stage takes a month, so when cap is met every day, after a month the progress is complete. If world cannot reach the cap, it will complete days later.

If there will be no further progress to be made until 5.2, this would have been a disaster. The devs would have released content knowing full well many would be locked out from participating, but would be fine with it since the content would be completed in just a few days. Maybe something happens when all servers have completed the latest phase? But if that were to happen, then all servers would be held up by the slowest.

If this is all there is, there is no reason why world visit shouldn't have been restricted from the start.

Since the upcoming FATEs will presumably be the last for a while, look forward to even more congestion as they approach lol.

It was predictable by both the developers and the players that everyone will rush the content so it is done in a few days and then nothing left for the remaining weeks and/or months till next patch. But people whining other servers fall behind and need help when they will finish just a few days later.

I doubt that with 5.15 will come a next step.

now that the world visit is disabled lower population servers are getting the short end of the stick, where our progress bar would be complete in a few hours is now not even half of that in two days there has to be another solution to the issue.

Where is the difference when you have finished all steps and have to wait for example 7 weeks for the next steps to be implemented or 8 weeks.

We've got like 2 months give or take to complete before the next section gets dropped, I'm sure even the smallest servers will be done by then. Nothing is locked behind completion so there really is no rush (unless you want your server to have World First status).
