Half of what you said I can agree with. Something I would like to see perspective from others is that despite there being casual content, does the challenge of said content have to be dropped so severely low? I speak to people under normal circumstances. Does so called "casual content" have to be dropped in such low difficulty that you rather just mindlessly grind all day instead of at least adding an interesting boss/content in between? Again, 2.0's relic quest was at least a great way to start off your relic quest. It did have grinding, but it also had interesting bosses to face on the way that were very accessible and not too hard to defeat. Not to mention it got your feet wet with primals. Was there so much criticism towards fun content like this that people much rather just have one mindless grind after another without challenging you as a player besides your patience? I really would like to hear perspective from those said players. They are obviously around because SE for some reason are listening to them.
Just because someone may not have as much time to play a game doesn't necessarily mean that they do not want challenging content.
