You don't ever need a static for midcore raiding in anygame that is why its called midcore.... midcore is a blend of casual and hardcore.... Midcore players are usually competent players that can usually run with any type of group in a midcore level playing field (same gear Ilevels...ect).
Hardcore is for statics because the content requires you to be in a competent group with all players in sync to get it done. In other words you have to know each others play styles very well.
Normally content for casuals is easy and can pretty much finish the content with any type of player base. You can not do this with NM unless you have several over gear and very well seasoned players in the group... its not going to happen... especially in run 3 and 4.
Dungeons can be completed with 4 low skilled players.
NM raids like primal ex's and Alex NM 1- 4 can not be completed with 8 low skilled players. You will need to have at least 5 - 8 descent skilled players to beat that content at ilevel w/out a static.
Savage mode will need 5 - 8 very competent players that are in a static to complete it. It cant be done by 8 low skilled players. It could be done by 8 midcore players but usually when that happens they are over geared for the content to make up for the level of skill required to beat it when it first came out. -

You don't really need a static for EX primals, but you're not going to be able to do EX primals in DF without echo buffs. If EX primals were put in df day one of their release, there would be very few df clears, until echo. That is not the case with alex NM. You don't even need to join a PF group. It's far from the difficulty of what midcore content is. If anything, the content gap that alex NM filled was LFR gap, which is a tourist version of content.Quote:

I personally in no shape or form have ever made the argument that everyone agrees with my views on content, i did however state that not everyone enjoys how content is currently presented.
One single complaint in this or any other thread proves that. -

There is a difference between 3.0 end game dungeons and Alex NM when it comes to the skill level required to beat that content. There is a difference between Alex NM and SM when it comes to the level of skill required to beat that content.
Dungeons requires low skill to complete it (casual mostly)
Primal ex's and Alex NM requires descent level skill to complete it (low midcore to upper midcore)
Savage anything requires awesome skill level to complete it (upper midcore to hardcore)
