It is so bad. Out of ALL the hairstyles. Out of ALL of them. That was the one they chose....

I'm disappointed. Was hoping that they will add many more and not just those 6. From the 6 new I only like Lightnings and maybe 2Bs. But the Generic one from Miqote looks very odd in the patchnotes. Karen's and 9S is tooo short for me. Maybe I'll give the ponytail a try. Was hoping for Early to Rise, Both Ways and Minfilia's Style. Oh and for Y'shtola's. I know Viera is limited still, but that are the ones I love the most. I will not go back to Miqote but my heart just broke a little.

honestly the only one i am disappointed they added is the karen hairstyle , but i like the rest .. although i am still in queue and haven't tried them on yet >:( , but still yi would've loved if they added Gyr Abanian Plait or the rainmaker hairstyle !

To be fair, they said they were designed without the restrictions they had to go back and fix for female Viera, not that they actually already modeled them all to fit to male Viera.

It's disappointing for sure, but maybe this will actually be the expansion where they release stuff in future patches like Shadowbringers was supposed to. :rolleyes:

For how much I had to wait I'm not happy with what I got. I was hoping for Eureka hairstyles. Oh well :(

Not gonna hate on it too much because a lot of people wanted this one specifically, but why even remove the hairband between the ears if it's still there on the sides going underneath the ears anyway. :confused:

And if you take another look you will notice that is also missing from the sides, were other races have their ears.

I thought the sides were snipped too, but looking at the original hairstyle it doesn't seem to go further down on them either so it's just randomly missing in the middle.

I remember them saying male viera were built with no limitations like female viera were, so where are all the other hairstyles for males?

Also does anyone know if they will go back and add more hairstyles to Viera F? We barely got any and clearly they can add the unlockable hairstyles to their head design now.

I hope we see more F Viera hairstyles before the next expac

I'd like to see more miqo'te variations on Viera, like this one specifically- the Y'sthola hair on Viera would be so flattering- I wish more people would have requested this one to be added

The yshtola hair is not available for vieras. I think they shouldve really gone for the mogstation ones first. Minfilia, Yshtola, Lightning. Then for 2B, Great lengths and so on. End it with the racial ones that everyone has.

It's 6 just like for girls. One standard one, "Karen", FF13, Gold Saucer, 2B, 9S.

It seemed like a vague statement at the time. They never actually said what the supposed lack of limitations would allow them to do. Perhaps it got lost in translation.

Given that it isn't about getting things made for them any quicker, perhaps it's more about being prepared for future developments? Hairstyles designed with hats in mind even though they can't have them yet?

Call me a contrarian, but apart from the limited number of hairstyles for the Viera race, I'm happy that we finally got the male Viera. I mean, I read that SE had fixed the problem with the female Viera which didn't able them to add any hairstyles to them and so on, so hopefully, we'll get more in the upcoming patches.

Remember when people were trashing the modded screenshots of the braid and hairband clipping the ears saying SE would never release something like that because of their high standard of quality? Simpler times.

Please, can we just stop with this? At first it was: "Wow the translator is so good! She can even translate emotions!" Now we have to cope it's: "Maybe something went missing"
No, they were just lazy with this like they have been since the day they created them. They had the excuse they had to rush them, now they only had to create one and said the hairstyle had no limitations for males and see how that turned out. Want to keep waiting? See how 2 years turned out. 6 new boring hairstyles and paying for some items in the mogstation won't even grant you anything. Maybe saying things are wrong and making them understand lying and delivering substandard products that aren't to the same level as the rest of the other races would be better. Guess we'll never know, because we have 6 hairstyles and its duplicates with feathers and bangers for a grand total of 12. More than enough. Let's pay for fantasia.

So... as much as we all hoped that they will unlock everything at once, where do they say that they will add everything at once? Unless I'm blind - they didn't. All they said is that males are done with no issue females used to have from the beginning (which supposedly should mean that it should be easier to add new haircuts in future, be it unlocking old ones or designing new ones).

I get the feeling of dissapointment, which is justified, but accusing developers of lie when there was no lie in the first place doesn't seem like a right way to make a complaint nor argument.

I am very happy about bunnymen, but this expansion is just so weird to me. They have reskins of multiple gear for instance, viera only got 6 hairstyles and honestly most of them do not look good (there is a strange bump on the legacy one, the 2B band is ...ooof) and they added a bunch of companion mechanics during the story to "show you around areas" and whatnot that couldve just been avoided but instead now take up alot of ones time. I spent hours playing yesterday before finally reaching a dungeon. Some of their choices are just strange to me and this with the hairs for viera is one of them.

It just feels rushed, like some of the other hairs just look kind of... bad.. as well. That hairband is just particularly egregious. I guess they wanted the PR, or didn't want female viera to feel left out that male viera got some hairs? Granted, I'm not sure if the hairs for males look any good either..
