Instead of cutting Ultimate from 5.5 why not cut bozja?

That fight was a complete joke and I bet there's actually more legend than people who actually unlocked that crap! It was locked behind so much grindy content that even the casuals hated it!

Now they decide to add SAVAGE level content behind some casual grind wall! For what reason??! No one asked for it!

Wasting battle developer time on that instead of the ultimate that was promised to us at the start of the expansion

People are forgetting the fact that 2 ultimates per expansion was PROMISED to us. This was ADVERTISED in an interview that we would get 2 ULTIMATES PER EXPANSION

Square Enix lied and they're not going to get punished for it

Like to me, it seems they put in so much crap nobody even asked for or it just blows my mind how it was prioritized over working on an actual Ultimate. Remember, original Ultimate supposed to be 5.3 but delayed as to spread it out towards the end of the expansion cycle. Which I thought was a great idea. But it means during all this time, they prioritized all this fluff stuff over actual content. Content that has not been in the game for so long. Even then, I took it on the chin. But for SE to come and say this so late into the tier is a disgusting move. I would not have spent any money on this game if I didn't think I needed to get BiS for Ultimate. It's shady and I as a customer feel blatantly used through omission of information. People keep moaning about covid-19 and SE. I have a difficult time too during the pandemic! I would have spent the 50 euros I could have saved on something else instead. Now to me it's just wasted money. I immediately quit, haven't even finished the tier as I don't care.

Well i asked the same question earlier (how many % of players is going to clear DR Savage) and it’s conveniently ignored (or dodged).
When they first said there would be no ultimate in 5.3 i was expecting the dev team to still work on it and only delay the release. Turned out that they just throw the new ultimate behind their mind for long enough that they couldn’t finish it without impacting the development of the new expansion.

I'd ignore that troll, I called them out on savage and TEA statistics and they had no real rebuttal and just likes to hear themselves talk non-sense.

Many casuals in NA are tone deaf saying reckless things without any facts like no one does savage and yet the statistics handily prove that just about every JP server falls within 25-30% of players clearing savage. Heavy endgame NA servers like Gilgamesh and Levi are close to that. Then you have the Crystal data center which is in it's own bubble to care about ultimate on a total level.

Eureka and Bozja are a nice contents changing from our habits with Trials and Raids, but they have unfortunetely many flaws.
The developers didn't gave too much thoughts about the concepts and implementations and this is a shame.

Over 60,000 people have the Ozma mount according to Lalachievements, on the other hand, 1460 people have cleared Delubrum (Tracked via Cerberus mount), still new content so this isn't really anything to judge. which is fairly reliable to track since mounts are publicly available information regardless, but achievements for Ultimate on the other hand are in some cases are not publicly trackable so that's always going to be inaccurate, but going by this approx 9-11K holders per encounter. Likely a lot of player overlap, however.

And you can be sure that that represents a relatively smaller population compared to the ones who did and completed Hydatos and who actually participated in the Stormblood relic content. I would love figures for those completing Hydatos.

It's really a shame that the development team had to make any choices and delaying and eliminating content is certainly not a good thing.

Nah nobody at all did Eureka content at all, it was content that was completely dead with nobody participating at all (/s). I do stand corrected though it's 48K, but either way hard to make a compelling case against it since it's just as significant. People just underestimate how far and wide discord and such take such content. Give it some time and Cerberus is likely to follow a similar trend to Ozma; people will get more augmented gear, and relics which is likely to provide a bonus similar to that of Physeos weapons which will only make it easier to clear with a pug.

It was always going to be a no-win situation. You please 1 side of the community, and in doing so make the other side unhappy, and vice versa. It's not even a given that delaying Bozja or cutting it would allow for room to have Ultimate developed on-time in the first place.

If the minority vs. majority thing was true, I would be sure Hrothgar and Viera could be able to wear hats right now.

"But SE said they would never wear hats!" sounds like pure laziness to me. Especially when we have seen Viera in other FF games wearing hats, and the new DR armor being now seen on Hrothgar.
