Yeah, I understand the hesitation to full clear that one. It's not like Tam-Tara where there are 3 rooms and 8-9 enemies on the way, that's at least 6 rooms and 18 enemies worth, that's pretty high up on optional mobs for any pre-50 dungeon.

Like the OP, if the party wants a full clear and speak like you would to another human being, I'll happily oblige, hell I even ask if they want if majority aren't at level cap. But as soon as one starts talking to me like dirt and starts getting all demanding and entitled. They will get a reaction and not one they will like.
I run dungeons as tank, because I enjoy it, because I'll happily help players get clears. I don't join to be someones doormat or b*tch they can abuse, blackmail or be outright rude to. They will either be removed or find themselves hoping another tank joins.
Simple thing, if the players in the party are decent human beings I'm happy to spend extra time in the dungeon with them. As people like that make the dungeons enjoyable for me. The other type, not worth the effort.
Yeah :/
It takes a loooong time if people don't AoE, especially on the first part with the crystal buffs. All I asked of the guy was for him to AoE and I would have done a clear even though he was being a jerk, too. But nope, he would accept no less than a 100% clear with no AoE.
Hopefully SQEX will note this in the future and avoid making too many "optional branches" that are skippable. It already seems that they've been going that direction with the recent hard mode dungeons.
This pretty much hits the nail. But it's not limited to dps :) Some people think their time/needs are more important than that of others. I really don't get that. If you want to play a certain way, you don't queue up for a random group!
What usually happens is the following:
*things don't go as someone had in mind*
"kick me" in party chat follows
If the group doesn't respond, the "kick me" gets copied and spammed some 10 times.
Someone: "You can hit the 'Leave' button"
The person throws a temper tantrum like a 4 year old and starts getting abusive, while spamming "kick me" some more, throwing in a 'Vote Abandon' here and there.
Unfortunately, this horrible behavior often gets rewarded by making that Vote Abandon happen. I've only seen it not work a couple of times. And I hate to admit it, but I had a good chuckle whenever that happened.
