Oof, I feel that. I switched up to the modern aesthetic simply because I gave up on anything else looking good. My glamours are like a real life capsule collection, plus a stash of stuff I'd not normally use if it wasn't for Fashion Report Fridays.

If it helps, and I know it doesn't really, healer gear on my main doesn't make me happy either. You might feel it's largely feminine skewed, and whereas I don't particularly disagree with that sentiment, I don't feel I'm the sort of feminine it might relate to. There's many facets to femininity (as with masculinity). Then, broadly speaking, tank gear is upsetting regardless of gender. Aiming gear is often tragic, again irrespective of gender (and again, broadly speaking). And if you happen to find something that might work, it either won't dye or doesn't dye completely, leaving leftover red sections which are crushing and ruin the effect if you use a dye scheme that has no room for red. It probably makes some people happy, though I think the devs making gear have a largely thankless task and it's impossible to please everyone. I've long since felt things I like are few and far between, even when there's lots and lots to theoretically choose from. I still have enough to make things work, but my goodness, I wouldn't mind some new things after my own heart.

I sincerely hope you (and me!) get nice things for our lads (and lasses!) the way we want in the future. It never hurts to say what you'd like to see, at least. :)

Does the same apply? I think you may be confused with people who have disagreed and people who conflate the request with being mentally impaired and morally repugnant. Comments that have since been moderated. But I don’t know if that’s just you being wilfully ignorant.

I've read through most of this thread and haven't seen any such comments. If they've been deleted beforehand then you're right, but if they've been deleted it also makes your statement on the first page and the comment I replied to seem like you're just lashing out to anyone that disagrees with you since there's no evidence to the contrary.

I don't see why I should have to catalogue every or any receipt of brazen verbal abuse on this forum, in order to validate my expression of dismay at what I've seen or experienced. I think your response speaks volumes.

And the comment you replied to was correcting someone's distorted perspective that I was somehow extorting and cowing the developers themselves by said dismay e.t.c

Claiming that people are "homophobic/transphobic" is a very serious accusation, so if you were using against those who were just disagreeing with you then, yes, that would be lashing out. What's more, using those terms willy-nilly devalues their importance.

I'd say you're both half right. There were homophobic/transphobic comments (won't scroll back all that to check if they were deleted tho), but at the same time they're too a small minority (or just trolls) and not an attitude most condone, so it's far from being a general consensus of the forum, let alone the community.

After said explanation then sure, it's understandable, but you need to be aware about how it looks to those who came after those comments are no longer available as reference.

I'm not defending any hill except the for the fact that I am indeed a dude and not your "sis".
