Mod users in FFXIV are getting out of control

Relax, there's like 0 mods for lalafell. No one wants to see potatoes naked.

I'm usually not one to compare games because they are apples and oranges, but I felt like this a complete misunderstanding of capabilities. WoW, which has a very robust mod community, is not able to do this. If it were that easy, everyone would be clearing mythic raids there. Even with all the addon's, there are still a large portion who are not able to clear the raids. Their addon's will tell you a lot more than ACT does, and there is still a lot of failure. I think ACT has a long way to go before it can be considered something that is ruining the game.

As a previous multi-boxer, there are ways to do this.

But...lets just say that the amount of effort (and subs one player would be paying, as I was paying for 5) to pull this off justifies the outcome. It is also far more difficult than playing one character lol

Simply going to echo this sentiment. If I want naked potatoes, I go to the grocery store.

My really serious concern with this statement is the apparent over self identification with a video game cartoon character. The difference between that character and your real life self is vast - and if you don't see that, that is very dangerous for you...

If people are taking actions at or towards you, or changing your game experience - you have a legitimate gripe. But if they're just changing what they see on their screen in regards to a bunch of cartoons that do not represent ANYONE... that's not at you at all.

It is STILL a major issue for SE, as it disrupts their service and could cause them issues with ratings and such. But the gripe here is not 'harassment' but rather 'hacking and EULA violations'.
