speaking of spears and fashion, does anyone have a picture/have posted a picture of themselves with the dreadwyrm spear? that's the one i'm unsure of, in the one tiny picture i've seen of it. *begging puppy eyes*

what does it look like when drawn, because going to the lodestone db only shows what icon/sheathed looks like, and im hoping theres a unique effect different from augments and relic-nexus

Not sure if I'd bother with gloves, since soldiery ones are 110 with very good stats already.

But anyways, I couldn't find any info on max melds. I THINK the chest might be 41 crit/29 det, but I'm not sure. Sources are anything but definitely defining.

Spear of Longinus is not a NGE reference, but more of a biblic one, where longinus is the dude who pierced Jeezus flank to make sure he is dead, than took his blood to put it in a cup, later known as the Holy Grail. Fun fact, we already had the god damn Holy Lance with the redish tip of the lance. Looks like SE love making DRG and his lore around a religion. WELP!

Most of Final Fantasy's lore is based on various real world religions and mythologies with their own twists.

They kinda got themselves shoved in a corner when the first Dragoon, Kain was basically a retelling of Cain and Abel.

Yh, I know. But I'm gonna think NGE before religion though....if it's even possible to think of NGE w/o reflecting on religion!

Question to my fellow drg's on turn 13:

When the Shadow of Meracydia spawn, do you guys use a chaos combo to thrust combo? Or just thrust combo? The reason I ask is because these adds need to bursted down quickly, and I'm not sure how long the chaos dot needs to be up before the combo overtakes a thrust combo.

thrusts - 150+200+360=710
chaos - 180+220+275=675. +2 ticks=725


if they're alive for longer than 2 ticks, CT starts being a lot better

Doing CT will typically be more damage while also buffing your BRD. Always consider if CT is worth it not just from a DRG's potency stand-point but from the considerable boost to BRD's burst.
