...Excuse me, that's not quite how that works. Several of us on Dynamis for months are still trying to obtain a personal house. Even if you wait until the last day and there is 1 vote on a house (which has happened to me multiple times), other people can swoop in to vote. We cannot predict which houses will get votes, unless it's on prime locations. It's unfair to assume that people who are complaining about the housing situation and not having a home or even bigger home are always being greedy and only voting for prime plots. That is not the case for everyone, me included. I've actually put hours into tracking several plots and their winning numbers. A lot of good that does me, although I do see some trends...even if you predict a prime plot is going to have a winning number in the upper quarter of votes, you can't predict exactly where. Trust me, I've tried, haha. And then there are the plots which I thought I'd win due to 1-3 votes and still no.Quote:

Imo, SE needs to fix its false scarcity and ensure that every player has a home. Figure it out. You advertise it to your players, and don't deliver. Unacceptable and one of the worst if not worst systems I've seen in my 30 years of gaming.

Seraph had at least 6 zero bid houses in the Goblet last round. Filter by "Individual" and all other lottery phases except "FCFS" (FCFS are the locked wards), Seraph still has 85 plots for individuals.

My dream plot is LB 59, a small, and I prefer the subdivision for the day/night angle. It’s probably the best views (again, my opinion) for a small and it’s off to itself, so it does get a lot of bids. Some of my other favorites though are grade 4s. And the bids vary wildly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and all that. And I say that as someone who has one of the most popular mediums and is trying to downsize to a small.Quote:

If instanced were actually implemented, I - like Jojoya said - would be thrilled if everyone could have the plot of their choice, popular plot or not. I’m someone who frequently wanders the wards to look at and appreciate other people’s interior and exterior design. It’s not “meh” when everyone can put their own unique spin on it! And I do that for apartments too, so an instanced housing directory wouldn’t bother me. But I guess I’m just clueless about housing… sigh -
