Translations (JP to English)

People on the JP side started a thread about Dzemael instance Raid where players d/c during? cut scene every time. I'm not going to put this one on OP since it doesn't have any info but if you guys are also experiencing d/c during Dzemael every time maybe want to start a thread to report to the Mods/Reps -> Dev.

I think the next few months will be a good time to launch the Test Server.

nyis started a thread saying he wants to drink alcohol in game, and people also said they want drinking in game since they have bars and guilds etc. They do understand due to the rating it might not be possible to name it alcohol like Beer or w/e specific drinks so they were just saying maybe make names look alike etc.

Each country has difference in rating standards and looking at those it gets really hard. (Currently with ratings having barrels or bar or NPC drinking or being drunk or having a message related doesn't have a problem with ratings)

YoshiP sadly said "I want to become berserk drinking [Bucchus's Wine]..."

Just for some context about the rating systems, this game has a "PG" rating in Australia. That's PG for parental guidance recommended - think around 10 years+ if going by age.

Australia is really picky about it's standards when it comes to sexual activity. There is the possibility that having a Mi'quote in a Bikini /pose may even be considered pushing the envelope on that rating and if our office of film and literature classification gets a complaint, the game would possibly be pulled from shelves, forcing SE through an exceptionally costly reclassification process.

The consumption of alcohol or use of drugs is treated with a similar level of seriousness. The imbibing of any drug that may be considered illicit or restricted for positive reward or effect throws it straight up at least two classification levels. This includes any positive effect from appearing drunk.

So yeah, the alcohol issue is really touchy. And Australia is probably one of the regions that gives them the most classification headaches (not only because classification is picky, but because it is expensive to get and legally enforceable).

itachou started a thread about equipment that allows you to move faster within the city (not outside but his thread title is for movement speed in general) kind of like the 3 country clothes for FFXI.

First for field movement speed up, in patch 1.19 Chocobo is planned to be released. For character movement speed, instead of having it as a equipment, moving towards implementation of actions that temporarily increases the speed aside from quick step.
