As it stands, changing your grand company costs you 50,000gil after the 1st switch. This is a ridiculously exorbitant price for something so small as which grand company you collect credits for. Furthermore, not only is the price stupidly high but you are never told how much it will cost until it is too late.
Sure, the NPC tells you there will be "a fee." How silly of me to think Square Enix could be reasonable for once and charge something acceptable like 1-2K gil. 50k is just an insult to players on top of the pointless arbitrary real life 30 day wait penalty. The only reason SE institutes these painful policies is
1. Force players to play (and PAY) longer for any action/goal they wish to work for using artificially extended wait times.
2. Delete as much gil from players as possible.
Stop trying to sugar coat how much you try to take advantage of users and just stop doing it! As players "We appreciate your understanding." and look forward to quality of life changes.
PLEASE ADD A CONFIRMATION WINDOW TO THE BINDING COILS OF BAHAMUT when the party leader takes us in. I know this sound like a lot of work but please add one in, This needs/should have been in the game already.
Another thing Please remove the 2k Caps on Phil/Myth tomes (not the weekly cap on myth). Now with Duty Roulette I'm getting more Tomes than I know what to do with.
Remove the quest turn-in level restrictions entirely. Or failing that, wasted quest exp on a capped class should be converted into extra gil/tomes/whatever.
please add a second page to the armoury chest and maybe 3 for rings since we use 2 of them for each job.
Has it been suggested (here or elsewhere) that it would be nice to be able to have retainer be able to immediately sell stuff at the base NPC price (vs. AH listing)?
In other words, when I am looking to sell something in inventory, I can check the prior sales, but if they are low, and the item it worth a few gil, it would be great to be able to sell it for those few gil right then and there (via the retainer interface), vs. removing it from retainer inventory and then going to NPC and selling it.
Link the show/hide headgear toggle to equipment sets. For example, if I choose to have it hidden on my lv 49 miner (because I hate how the mythril mesail makes me look like Bane), it will always be hidden whenever I switch to that equipment set, even if the equipment set I was switching from had the headgear visible.
Add an option to filter /tells. Friends List, Free Company, and the eight Linkshells could each be toggled for whether or not you wanted to be able to receive /tells from those people, and those options would be saved if you toggled an Anyone option (for times when you were recruiting a party, LS, or FC, or if you were a crafter and wanted people to be able to contact you for melds or synths). This would allow you to shield yourself from annoying RMT spam.
Greetings,
In the future we will be addressing the feature that will allow for items to stack automatically when sorting.
this would be great. I'm about 50/50 for the equipment sets that I want the helm visible vs. those where I don't want the sets visible. It's a minor hassle to reset after I swap sets.
On a related note, it would be great if /visor was incorporated into a UI toggle for those helms that support this feature. Just another small button next to show/hide helm would be awesome.
Cross server chatting:
Allow us to talk to people we've met in dungeons that aren't on our server.
This will benefit you, since we'll be making friends on other servers... Meaning you should see an increase in people using world transfer.
My confusion is how are we meant to make friends on other worlds when it's impossible to talk to them outside of dungeons?
External interaction:
A Lodestone App to sell/buy market wares, manage FCs/lists and use chats. This will allow the community to be more active in more ways than one, increase market use, while encouraging players to be more active on chats and promote a stronger community.
Mini games for non combat classes:
What of those who want to take a break from fighting and are reaching cap?
Offer an assortment of pub games such as cards (FF game themed) to bet and earn gil? For the gathering/crafting classes? Offer them the chance to test their skills with cook offs, fishing challenges... Promote a world outside of combat.
Please implement Inventory "Disciple Sorting"... e.g. DoW/DoM/DoH/DoL will group separate from one another if this feature is enabled.

1. Furniture cannot be mirrored. Please make function to reflect or mirror furniture for easier placement. It is very limiting to have a bed with a sideboard but you have to face it backwards in order for the beds to be open towards the middle.
2. A way to gain additional FC Bank slots.
3. Sort feature for FC, LS, Mail List
4. Bring back the ability to add people who are in instances to your friends list manually. This was ninja removed in the last patch.
5. Allow FC's to remove the "Are you sure you want to deposit/remove x item in/from Company Chest?" from FC bank interactions.
- Auto-dismount when riding into city
^Implemented in 2.1.

6. Instead of removing pets from right click, allow there to be a setting you can change under character configuration.
7. Add new in game /codes for weapon sheathed and helmet display.
8. Add the ability to regulate your quest tracker. (I know this has been asked before.)
9. I haven't found an option for this but please allow guest passes into FC housing so if you have close friends in other FC's they can come in but it will still be closed to the general public, if you want.
10. Please add a more relaxed sitting position for Highlander Females. It is hard to look relaxed while on one knee. It would be nice if all races had multiple /dance and /sit options.
Greetings,
In patch 2.2, we will be making it so you can indicate the number of items you wish to store/retrieve on a retainer, instead of first having to split the current stack of items.
I dunno if this has been suggested, but when you use the Duty Roulette, make it so people cannot join an "in progress" party. I was in Copperbell mines today. At the final boss someone had to leave. So the rep joins, we win and she got the roulette bonus for 5 minutes of work.
tl;dr - When you use the DR, you MUST join a party at the beginning.
Duty Roulette says you have to complete at least 2 objectives for the reward (I think--I'm not in the game atm to check). Are you sure they got the roulette bonus? I've never joined an in-progress Duty Roulette so I'm not entirely sure if it actually works like it says.
Not 100% sure. They said they joined an In Progress Duty Roulette and happened to join ours right at the final boss. They said they got the bonus but /shrug.
Aneas, of course people could choose a specific dungeon to join In Progress and just happen to join my party mmmk? They wouldn't get the Roulette bonus but would join the party that used Roulette.
I don't think so, since one of the possible things you could get on a duty roulette is the story mode Ifrit trial, which only has one objective.
That said, I disagree with Lucke's suggestion. The duty roulette is meant to give people more incentive to repeat low level content. Let's not take incentives away please.
You get your reward upon successful completion of the duty, regardless of the objectives (like bosses, or even those "open the door" objectives?) you were there for.
Is it kinda cheap? Yeah, I guess, but it's better than being stuck without someone to come replace who was lost.
Be reasonable, here. It's way more efficient to fill empty party slots in ALL dungeons by allowing people in the Duty Roulette to queue for in-progress, then to hope that someone is both queueing for your dungeon specifically and queueing in progress.
Why exactly does it matter if someone gets rewarded for 5 minutes of work? Its like being mad because someone on the other side of the planet found a diamond mine and became rich. It doesn't affect you in the slightest...actually I take that back. In this instance it does because that diamond mine owner just helped you out by granting you the final party member required to finish the dungeon.
I might be willing to entertain the argument if maybe they showed up, rolled on loot and won but even then, phils are so easy to obtain now I can't imagine someone honestly lamenting over not obtaining some piece of ilvl60 gear from Copper Bell HM or any dungeon that isn't CT.
No no, I understand the point of Roulette, I guess the issue is that (as selfish as this sounds) If I spend 30 minutes fighting bosses and wiping and stuff, then someone joins the party at the final boss and we win, they get the Roulette bonus for 5 minutes of work whilst the rest of us had to spend the time and effort to get to that final boss, and he someone comes in to reap our work for full rewards.
If the rewards change based on how much stuff you do, that's different. If I fight 3/3 bosses I should get 100% of the reward. If someone pops in at the final boss and spends 10 minutes in the dungeon and wins, (doing 1/3 the content) do they deserve the full bonus? Doesn't that spit in the face of the people who did more of the dungeon?
You have the option to click on "join in progress" yourself. Then sometimes you'd be the one getting the bonus for doing five minutes of work.
Otherwise, given the choice of having to exit and requeue or having someone join in progress via duty roulette and finishing the dungeon then and there, which is the more attractive proposition?
So what?
It's also worth noting that joining an in progress party entails a substantial amount of risk. Yeah, you might get lucky with a good group that just had a disconnect and get tomes for five minutes of work, but you also might get a group that had players drop because the remaining players were struggling. The reward in the case you mention is offset by the greater risk.
But even if the risk was not a factor, this is still a trivial complaint. You have lost nothing; why envy your replacement's good fortune?
So, you would rather loose your bonus altogether instead of letting someone join and get the bonus as well? That would mean you wasted that 30 minutes for no reward. You are saying thank you for helping us not have wasted all our time, but you do not deserve crap for a bonus. Sorry, but they saved the run, the deserve the bonus, and accommodations for bailing you out.
The nobody would join in progress and when you have situations where one member leaves (or gets kicked) then without a replacement you'd be stuck trying to finish the dungeon at less than full strength. That's a better solution?
Seriously, somebody got a reward for a little less effort. It's just a few myth/philo. *This* is what you choose to get annoyed about? Why don't you try joining in progress too. Maybe you'll get lucky and shave a few minutes off your daily run.
No, this should not be changed. It's one of the perks of using join in progress on ANY dungeon, not just the duty roulette. If you don't like the idea of carrying someone, form your own party so nobody else can join it.
Join in progress can be a gamble depending on the reason for people leaving. If someone left because the party was bad, you could be getting into a bad party that won't finish the dungeon. Again, I don't see why the Duty Roulette should get special treatment, people get win credit and tomestones (if applicable) even without using the duty roulette if they join in progress.
It would be nice if we could access the Armoire from our retainers/summoning bell.
Would it be possible to add 2 arrows to the Gear Set List to sort the sets?
They could just increase and decrease the "set number" associated to the focused set.

I hate to bring op WoW, but I like how you couldn't bluff your way into groups because of achievements. 1 too many times I've wasted valuable game time on groups who didn't even read up on basic battle mechanics but never bothered to mention they are new to the dungeon...
Maybe work in like an aura or something where you can see what the character has accomplished on terms of crafting/gathering/endgame stuff?
This could also be implemented in DF or PF, to balance groups instead of only using ilvl to filter out people...
