22.7gb update after relogging?

Just got this problem after my power went out today. i'm currently downloading a 22.7 gb patch even though my ps4 clearly shows that i already have stormblood installed. hopefully it doesn't error out. Should i even log out or will i have to do this every time i want to play now?

No, I only closed the game and launched it again. My PS4 was on the entire time. I'm just grateful I have fast internet so it's 'only' an 120 minute wait for me.

Can confirm once the download finished i just got back into the game and everthing seems back to normal.

Was that after the maintenance from yesterday? If so, there's yet another thing you have to watch out for. Once it updates to the new hotties version, it self-closes the application, runs the install, and reopens Stormblood right? Turns out, that action corrupts the data just like a brownout does. What you have to do is push "O" cancel when it tries to self-install the update, close Stormblood, go to notifications, apply update from there. Then it should work.

Yep, first time I'd launched since the maintenance

This error just happend to me today ,have to download the 22g patch and 15hrs to wait so the maintenace today did not fix anything.

This is happened twice for myself already on the PS4... didn't have the issue in early-access. Now every time the application is closed and I open it again it has to download this ridiculous 22.7GB update...

Just happened to me, power flicker.

Power went out for a minute, aaaaand now i get to babysit a DL i shouldnt have to do, for 8 hours... If things go smoothly that is.

Really dissapointed in SE
