Novus weapon upgrade system findings

He is on his 8th fuse and still at 100%. By the 4th fuse some people reported to drop to 80% successful rate

hmm as what ive been hearing you will be able to spend on alex's via MYTHOS..... so where did you get the idea that it will be based on gil

Central Thanalan is a good spot. I got 2 Alexandrites there. A lot of short FATEs that can be solo'd if there's no one playing there. Monsters that will die with 2 hits. If you don't mind the GC seals or the gil, Central Thanalan is the best spot (for me) for that.

Edit: 3 hours, 2 Alexandrites.

Any idea when we start needing rank 3/4 materia? The quest makes it seem like higher materia are needed to break specific thresholds. IE. you'd only need a rank 3 for every 10, 20, 30th alexandrite ... or something like that.
