You know, that sounds like a friend of mine. He was just learning AST and I noticed that while helping him...I kept getting Ewer. As a DRK. Which doesn't work. Along with Balance, Arrow, and Spear. His reply?
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!"
It's like the game knew how much healing undergeared tanks as AST stresses me out, so it threw me into a Castrum Abania with one in mostly Shire gear, along with two DPS who had never done the instance before.
The latter two were scarcely pushing 1K DPS, which meant the pulls/bosses dragged on for ages and were seriously taxing my MP.
By some miracle, I managed to get through without wiping in spite of that. It was particularly bad at the second boss, as they kept killing themselves on the elemental shield, meaning me and the tank were repeatedly getting blown up for 17K damage due to one of the Overflow circles being left empty, but I underestimated how effective Celestial Opposition/Time Dilation can be when they're used for sustainability instead of DPS boosting..
In the end, they were all nice enough to commend me, so it felt worth it overall.
I guess there's a first time for everything. My roulette last night did not meet the DPS check on Ifrit's nail phase.... in normal mode. Twice :p
I wasn't even mad. I couldn't stop laughing. This was of course after I explained that the nail must go down, placed the '1' marker, etc. After the second Hellfire wipe though, I had to tell them that if they can't do this, they are going to have some serious trouble down the road. That seemed to do the trick^^
Had a queue in progress for my trial roulette, but it was 37m in progress.
My mind went blank for a moment, because I was wonderful why a trial of all things was 37 minutes in progress. I assumed it was Steps of Faith, so I queued expecting the very worst.
The trial was the newest 4.3 one. -_- I get that some folks are new to it, but damn. 37 minutes in progress, for a trial that really isn't that much harder than Susano. Dunno what went wrong, because a vote abandon went off, and though I said no, it went through anyways. It makes me curious how badly that group was playing.
I think I was in that run! And yeah, it was....not great.
After the vote abandon, I re-queued for the roulette and got it again with a couple of the same people. Co-tank this time was a warrior who immediately turned on Defiance, so I assumed he wanted MT....but he didn't budge. Group started getting antsy, so I did a ready check. Everyone else was ready.....but the warrior never responded. So I threw on Grit and jumped in. Fight was going pretty well for a couple of minutes, then suddenly the warrior wakes up and immediately pulls her off me without a word.....turning her cone attack into the party, because he didn't even wait until he was in front of the boss to Provoke. Rather than trying to start drama in the middle of a fight, I just kinda shrugged and Shirked him. But then he eats every single mechanic, dies, and I ended up tanking the boss anyway. Until the healers both die to fans and we wipe.
Second attempt, the warrior starts in Deliverance, so I go for the pull.......and again, he does nothing for a minute or so, then jumps in and rips her off me again (but at least he remembers to go in front of the boss first this time). At this point I just want it over with, so again, I Shirked and let him have her. Until he dies again....and then the healers both die again, to the same thing as before....
Third time, I decide to just ask if he wants MT, since he keeps pulling off me anyway. He finally actually responds! And then he dies almost immediately again. And the healers ALSO both die again.
By this point there's six minutes left in the duty timer, so....
Ridorana this morning-
How we made it through to the end I'll never know... healers were not paying attention or something... one kept spamming broil while we had 3 dps dead due to not getting heals between Aoes... DRG kept linking to the undergeared RDM... when the healers weren't too busy DPSing to heal they were dead on the floor... I got more help from the healers in other alliances than my own... I spend half the last 2 bosses dead on the floor because apparently their broil was more important than resing the actual dps...
I had a BLM in an Alex farm party who was at 70 with an i210 weapon, unaugmented Shire left side and NQ 255 crafted right side. Their rotation consisted of spamming Fire until they ran out of MP, transposing and spamming Blizzard III until their mp was full and then transposing again. I had to ask them to use Enochian and their IV spells and even then they had to repeatedly reuse Enochian because they couldn't keep it up.
I was baffled. I'm not mad or anything, I'm just seriously confused as to how someone gets to 70 without understanding the basics of the job.
Farming Tsuku Ex—join a group and we zone in...and there’s a bonus. Well, I know where this is going. The person who was the bonus was supposedly an “alt”, so we pull. Well, we wiped twice, and I asked how many people who had actually cleared because so many people were dying to meteors, fans, and swords. Everyone said they had, though I was skeptical because there were just so many mechanic mess ups, and the damage was incredibly subpar—Tsuku was at 85% when she phased to adds, Suffering was at 90 by the time Zenos died, and second moon phased ended with Tsuku still above 50% health. The first pull she still had 17% at 11 minutes 20 seconds when we finally wiped.
I didn’t have the patience for it, so after the second wipe, I said I was out and left because I want to farm. The SAM in the party speaks up and says “That’s fine, you sucked anyways”.....I was dead on the floor for a full minute and was still double his damage. The first pull I was double his damage even with deaths. It’s really moments like this where I wish I could actually say something to people like this. And he wasn’t even in bad gear either—360/370 with the Tsuku weapon, melded and everything. But his numbers were lower than my numbers in HW. Good lord, I can’t stand people this freaking arrogant, because according to another person who stayed longer than I did, they were still trash talking me and bragging about how good they were while wiping to moon phase. Right. Get a life.
So im not going to bother writing up the whole run in detail, but saturday night i had an... "interesting" Ridorana run. I wound up in alliance c with a healer new to the raid(the other didnt say). Between all 3 alliances, the only other person who could(but rarely did) res was a single SMN. First boss? Fight was slow, but not ultimately too hard. Second boss? Fight was slow, but not ultimately too hard. I dont know if it was bad DPS, or dead DPS that was the problem(both seemed to be present). Healers were a bit slow on resing, but there were SO many dead at certain points that it was kinda hard to blame them. Then came Math Blaster. Slow but not too hard? We can do that 3 bosses in a row right?
Fight starts... ok. Math phase 1 - i get 100%! Im so happy to carry a damage buff through the rest of the fight(first time in i failed these, as i hadnt noticed that standing in the number circles changed my hp value). We get to the Tarterus phase. One alliance easily finishes, the other 2 beat their guys at the last second and most of both alliances die trying to run out(including me, i was in the freaking portal when time ran out and thought i escaped but it counted as dead and after the shift i was on the ground). By the time math phase 2 happens, almost no one is left standing(and those who were would die to unavoidable damage soon enough - bye bye buffs). On several occasions the group would be down to just 1 tank, 1 healer(it seemed to rotate who) and maybe a couple DPS plugging away. But the robot never could finish us. The fight just kept going. I saw 5 or 6 healer LB3s. At one point i was dead on the ground for more then 10 consecutive minutes(i survived a roomwide with less then 1k health using manaward, but the next roomwide killed me as i never got a heal in between - the fatal attack being a lithobreak attack i was on an edge and not in a convenient place to res). Toward the end we were purposefully not stacking for the one attack so only a single person would have to die. This single fight went OVER the 35 min mark. When the fight ended, one of the healers from group A(who was complaining that the healers who were up should have been doing a better job getting other healers going - im not saying they were wrong, just that they whined a lot) immediately left. It was... kinda intense. Final boss? Half the group didnt understand the mechanic explanation, quick wipe to the add phase. That followed by a fairly clean kill. It went a little slow, but it wasnt overly difficult. Still havent seen any of the pieces i actually want drop, still havent rolled above a 70 on any of the alliance wide items. Fun times!
As for the 35 min fight, it being so survivable isnt a bad thing. But i do wonder if the people on the ground were watching how to survive each mechanic and learning, or if a 5-10 min wipe and start over would have been better. Im someone who can watch the mechanics in real time while taking a little dirt nap and recognize patterns/learn what to do next time im back up(id rather not admit how many fights ive learned this way - die horribly, dont get resed, figure it out by watching, then be able to do it right next pull/explain to new people), but i know a lot of people learn better by doing then seeing(and a few of those DPS must have spent close to 30 mins dead). Unrelated note: Having swift/triple/procs up and continuing to do decent damage while circling behind his rotating death laser spam feels pretty great as a BLM. I know that isnt as big a deal for some classes, but it meant something to me.
My very casual static is slooowly progressing in O8S now so we threw in two extra hours of practise yesterday. However two of our members couldnt make it, so we had to pug some people.
A samurai joins. He gets some "Hellos" but doesnt respond. Okay, fair enough. We're not happy about it because we'd rather have a more nice and chatty person, but whatever. We ask how far they've been in the fight. No response. Thats a bit annoying now - but as our BLM points out: He has only german flagged as language so chances are he doesnt even understand. Neither me nor the BLM (we're both german) want to bother repeating the question though. He joined a group with an english description, if he wanted to only speak german he should have looked for such a group.
At this points the second slot fills - with a RDM who turns out to be really nice!
We offer discord details and while the RDM joins, the SAM doesnt respond again. Cool. We're not expecting it anymore at this point.
We load in and the first thing I do is check the SAMs gear. Now, I'm not sure what ilvl our partyleader set for the PF but this SAM must have reached it based on accessories alone. Left side is a mix of mostly dungeon gear (so around 330, 340), maybe one 360 piece. The real treat is the weapon though. Susano. Hes using a Susano Katana. Ilvl 320.
I point that put to my static, get some comments about how useful my judgemental stalking nature turned out to be and we leave to kick that samurai.
A monk joins shortly after and we end up getting 2 hours of decent practise, even though some lag and DCs are plaguing us.
I'm still a bit baffled about that samurai - more than I should be, granted.
I was already annoyed by the extreme amount of people with 300 or 310 weapons in Swallos Compass during the last days, but I could muster some understanding for that ("Okay, they're playing through story right now, maybe just started a few weeks ago, its just a dungeon..."). Joining any sort of Savage content though with a weapon that would have barely been okay during the previous raid-cycle? Why? Why would you (in this case: try to) waste other peoples time like that? Its so goddamn easy to get a 360 weapon thanks to the new augmented crafted stuff... or at least a 340, if you cant afford to buy some of the crafted gear. Or the 355 from Eureka or Byakko.
So, got Byakko story mode for the trial roulette last night. I playing PLD and was MT for this particular run. There was a new player notice at the start and SCH was watching the cutscene, hence, the new player.
We reach the tiger add phase and the DPS seems low (using PS4 so no ACT for me), the tiger jumped and we started the air phase at 54% of tiger, I notice that both BLMs in the party have weakness markers. I think ok, that explains things.
During the Byakko air phase, both BLMs and BRD do not even try to do the mechanic and die to the first circular swipe. I immediately put in the chat "Kick both BLMs". To which I get a response "No ****ing way!"
The good thing was both BLMs appear to have gotten the hint that they actually needed to play, and stayed upright and casting for the rest of the trial. The DPS though, was still pitiful, as the encounter took 16 minutes to kill and it was a one-shot.
Ah the proverbial ice mage?
So I unlocked Machinist yesterday and decided to level it via dungeon spam and doing levequests and fates while waiting on the duty finder. Got up to level 39, qued up for Cutter's Cry. Run starts easily enough but shortly before the worm boss my dog jumps into my lap and wants attention. So while trying to do two things at once I don't quite dodge the boss's sand attack, get no healing and get ko'd from that bleed effect. No raise from the healer and than the dragoon straddles my character's body, looking down at them, not saying anything and not attacking the boss for over a minute. I only get a raise after the boss is dead. Make it to the chimera no problem, despite getting distracted on and off in real life. And again during the last boss I don't manage to dodge a couple of attacks, get no healing and get ko'd. Again, no raise.
So anyway, I apologize in chat saying my dog is distracting me in real life. Mr. Creepy Dragoon with the barely legal name than makes the comment "I can't believe you died twice, probably making excuses for being a piss-poor player." So to recap distracted in real life, get no healing, no raises and told I suck despite only messing up twice on dodging an attack.
I ran Ridorana Lighthouse on Sunday on WHM. Ended up in Alliance B. Twas actually a good run, we one shotted every boss with some trouble.
The Good - My party ended up having 6/8 party members getting and maintaining 4x damage up buffs for the entire fight on Construct 7. WOO
The Bad - I'm pretty certain the two healers in Alliance C were dead for about 30-40% of the time in each boss encounter. Arghy
I will say this, Ridorana Lighthouse is definitely a lot of fun from a healer perspective. It's not often I get to use every tool in my WHM kit to triage a fight but this 24-man is certainly making me do that. I know it's just the first week for the content but it's been a blast to actually feel like a real healer and use every tool at my disposal to keep people alive / resuscitate the raid.
This is more of a party finder thing. Two days earlier, I beat the latest EX primal using my Rokku Sigma character from Excalibur using the Warrior role. I wanted to see if I could clear that trial using my Ekkusu Volnutt character from Gilgamesh. An hour and a half before the 5/29/18 maintenance, I joined a clear party of the latest EX trial as Paladin. The second tank that came in was also a Paladin. As a result, I changed to Dark Knight to prevent duplicates for LB and weapon loot reasons.
I noticed most of the other party members have either the 370 or 375 weapons. I felt comfortable Main Tanking the fight a bit more because of the experienced players I was grouped with. When all was said and done, our clear party beat the new EX Primal in one attempt. 4 people got the first-time clear achievement.
To the tanks who face the new EX Primal to the north in the crescent moon, kudos to you. This makes it much easier for me (MNK) to handle positionals and the moon mechanic. To those who don't... please face her north and not east/west. That leaves most of her body in the 'bad zone,' which means I have to duck into the 'safe zone' for a moment to prevent Bleed/Doom/Death.
I use True North for when I can't do positionals (during massive AoE's from rocks + orbs).
So I queued up for Sigma normal today on Sam for the first time in weeks. Got into O8 and I'm gonna be honest, I was the shit show in that fight. The truth is, I never fully grasped how Graven Image works, because I never really had to. The fight is so easy that you can avoid some mechanics purely by accident. And even with a couple vuln stacks, healers have always been able to just heal through it. Today though, good Lord. I couldnt have dodged a freight train, let alone any mechanic in that fight. I wound up with 8 stacks of vuln before I finally hit the floor. I'll give it to the healers on that one. They gave it their all to keep me alive, but apparently I wasn't havin any of that nonsense. Funny part is all the dps wind up dead at one point, and the healers are kinda struggling, but they manage to rez a dps here and there until everyone is back up.....except for me. I imagine it was the healers way of saying "you're done here," and I don't blame them one bit. I sucked so bad in that run lol I tanked the floor today, and I tanked it hard, folks. Shout out to those healers. I'm sorry I was such a burden, but you guys were aces all the way haha cheers
Whenever he uses that you need to keep an eye on the idol off the platform. First phase is 2 of those green knockback beams ,which may or may not jump across the field (need to be closer to it before it fires or you get knocked off). Second phase is a purple or yellow light which dictates which side of the field you should not stand on. Last phase is Yellow eye (stare at idol) and purple eye (look away from idol).
It's easy once you get the hang of it.
Today was a fine lesson in remembering that players are still new to Deltascape. Went into V3N through the Normal Raid Roulette as a Monk and got her. Naturally, mechanics were likely new to everybody (even I forget that her opening rotation is much different in normal than it is in Savage). All of the Queen's Waltz through one of the tanks, a PLD, for a loop in that they missed almost every single mechanic, even the ones where they needed to be a frog (they were a frog, but for whatever reason, did not get on the panels with the rest of us to pass that mechanic). In the cave phase, I ended up tanking the dragon - threw out Diversion and I still could not get the dragon to stop aggroing me. Noticed the same issue after the desert map phase - I have diversion in my opener, but for whatever reason, I shot up from 7th on the aggro list after using Diversion, to almost snatching hate from the PLD in about the span of 2 minutes.
Couldn't really be mad at the PLD, though. They tried and to be fair, a new 290 PLD trying to hold hate against a bursting 360 Monk could be problematic if they didn't have Shirk and were using their DPS rotation. Nothing that I personally had against the PLD - they didn't give up, so that's something.
So anybody else dealing with lag issues tonight? I just unlocked Castrum Abania. No lag before I entered the duty finder but about two minutes into the duty my ping starts going haywire with that receiving number doing things like going from 0 to 7439 to 123 to 4673 then to 598 then to 0 again. Get disconnected twice and when I finally get back in after the second time I was no longer in the duty. So I just want to apologize to the other three people in the duty for any trouble I caused because my connection to the server started acting up.
I want to both apologise and thank the people I was in Rabanastre with last night. I'd queued with PL hubby signing us up for alliance roulette, and I expected LotA, or Syrcus, since those are the only raids I'd done (just once each, at that). I was confident we wouldn't get anything I hadn't run. Welp, I'm still very much a noob with a stack to learn, and when Rabanastre fired I had many kittens. I've not even so much as looked at a video guide, or know anything of what happens in there. I'd just picked up the quest because I thought I might do it, many months in the future.
Somehow, the thing was cleared with no issues. It was fun, but I really, really hate being unprepared.
So, apologies to my group for my likely stupid deaths, and much thanks to the on-point healers, particularly Tiny Terror (IIRC). You definitely had my idiot back, and got my com. I'd give you many more if I could.
I did so well in the Lighthouse raid for my second time. ;w; I only died three times (first time I died 900 times ;w; ). I even got some math right /excite/ LOL.
But then I accidentally clicked greed on gear that didn't apply to me.... and won it... only for my bard boots and gloves to drop right after... orz Sob. orz
I am in the phase where I got a clear on the new EX primal for all 3 of my active characters, but have trouble farming it after the first clear. It's either misplaced meteors, miscommunication on where to bait the spears, and/or people are running like panicked chickens during the Lunacy/Fan Circle combo resulting in not splitting damage properly. Sometimes, I'll admit guilt on botching one of the above mechanics, but not as much as some of my other teammates do.
It looks like getting weapons for my main roles will take quite a while.
Ran Ridorana yesterday, and it somehow went well for the most part. We had an overeager Red Mage Lala, no names, who would constantly rush into the zone and pull the boss. Because he wasn't willing to wait another 20 seconds for the other Alliance members to arrive. Because hey, now we all get pulled into the arena anyway, so why even bother to wait? They eventually left, or better, got kicked by the Alliance, so we didn't have to deal with that headache anymore.
Congrats on your clear. Hopefully hubby was able to help you with the most important/confusing mechanics. I learned awhile ago that roulettes dont care what content you have cleared, just what you have unlocked. Good luck on your eventual attempts at Ridorana, WoD, and the Mhach series - each a lot of fun in its own right... and each potentially terrifying in its own way if you arent prepared.
It's good to hear this, I've been tanking it this way and was actually asked NOT to do that in one party. They told me to face her east/west. It seemed so incredibly wrong. Facing her north after pulling her to the small crescent has worked incredibly well for every other group and pretty much allows everyone to stand to either side as needed.
Leveling Roulette last night. Got Aurum Vale. Not in and of itself an issue, but when the first pull consists of the tank trying to pull the ENTIRE room, I immediately practically merged my face with my keyboard, I head-desked THAT hard.
First boss, the DRK isn't even using Grit, so I pull off of him THROUGH DIVERSION and get one shotted. Oh well, I get raised, we down the boss, I let the tank know about the wonders of Grit.
Second Boss (Coincounter). The tank spent half the time running around the arena actively trying to kill us with the bosses' un-telegraphed attacks.
Final Boss: We spent half the time moving to avoid Bad Breath that the tank was deliberately aiming at us.
For all of that, I managed to get a healer's commend out of it for staying out of bad, so not an entire loss at least?
If you're stuck in a long que, consider teleporting to a populated area. From my experience, after waiting longer than 15 minutes, the duty will que just as I'm trying to port to Rhalgr's Reach, Kugane, or a Housing District.
I've almost missed confirming the pop up (with no more than 2 seconds to spare) because it's taking forever to port in since we literally can't do anything inbetween 'porting.
Raised 10 people as RDM during castrum fulmiwhatever, not one commendation. Feelsbadman
I think this speaks for itself.

That's 2 stacks on A in Ozma, which followed 4 meteors hitting us. Also that was Forgall's FIRST Mega Death.
Also featuring: Red Mage who died the most advertising his FC in /shout just after Forgall.
The MT tried to spin Calofisteri and failed twice, cleaving the raid. She then chased after Calofisteri did Depth Charge, and both following Haircuts cleaved the room AGAIN. And also turn the boss when she wasn't doing Haircut.
And after all that I got into Susan Normal for Trial Roulette with a Dragoon who died 3 times before we finished Phase 1.
PS This is just a weird thing - if anyone here goes into WCoM can you let me know what the chat log says when the boss arenas are sealed? Because whilst doing the above WCOM run, I noticed that the chat box appears to be getting it wrong.
Arachne Eve - Queen's room (i think)
Forgall - The Shrine of the Goetic
Ozma - The Gloriole
Calofisteri - Tomb of the Nullstone
When I did WCOM, the chat log pushed all the names 1 boss early - it said after AE went down that the Shrine was no longer sealed and that Forgall's arena was the Gloriole. I just want to check that I wasn't trippin or if it's just from latest patch mistake maybe (or just a 1 time thing idk).
EDIT: You can actually see it! In the second screenshot in my chat log, at the bottom - that screenshot was taken when Ozma died and you can just about see it there saying that the Tomb of the Nullstone isn't sealed - that's Calo's boss room, not Ozma's!
After doing a few runs of varying strats, I now think it really depends on how people handle the gun (and spear?) during the moon-stage mechanic. If people are to stack behind her for gun (MT being on the waning side of the stage, making everyone else on the dominant side), then having her face east/west is fine. If for whatever reason people are stacking in the waning side, then I feel the tank should have her face north so that people can still refresh their Moon-stacks before/while she fires her gun laser.
Anywho, last night I got three wins in the fight doing a no waymark strat (we'd have more, but people only stayed for one one-shot run and we'd go back into the partyfinder) and when replacing a tank who left after our second one-shot win, we got one who tried to enforce their cardinal waymark strat, to which the party leader denied this (as he should. He specifically said 'no waymark strat' in the party finder). People unfamiliar with the strat caused a wipe (including the new tank) and then the new tank said things like "and this is why you need waymarks. I have 14 clears brah" and then spammed 14 clears in party chat. That tank left (and was blacklisted), but the people who messed up stayed and adjusted to no waymarks and we got our last clear of the night.
Edit: Another thing that drives me nuts with this fight (again, towards tanks) is when tanks decide to tank the EX Primal in the dominant light/dark, while they stand just at the edge of the crescent. Like... okay, so I guess my DPS doesn't matter? I'll just stand in front of the boss while refreshing my moon? I shouldn't need to use True North when I technically don't need to.
Also inconsistency. It helps if I know a tank is always going to go in one direction (always 'north' or always 'south'), otherwise there's a chance I'll go the wrong way and end up twiddling my thumbs, or I wait to see which way they go and possibly risk getting Bleed because latency is a fickle mistress.
Been awhile since I posted in this thread, but I have a new story to tell. Buckle up kiddos.
So this happened on Sunday night before the emergency maintenance like about maybe 30mins or a hour before it started. I wanted to squeeze in a couple more roulettes before I had to log. Got on my SMN and I got into Expert Roulette, got Hell's Lid (after getting Shallow's Compass for the past 4 nights....>_>) and the run started okay, but I noticed soon after that the tank was a bit slow, I think he had a leaf, so lvl 70 newbie? Level booster? Well, there was no newbie bonus message at the start. I mean he did his job but he was a slow dude.
Anyway, we get to the first boss and the tank starts a 15 sec countdown...Now, knowing that maintenance was gonna be starting soon and I wanted to get another roulette done, I started the boss fight and the other dps and healer followed suit. The tank stood dumbfounded for a couple seconds then joined the fight. Obviously, I could tell he got his tank pride hurt cause 3 other people wanted to hurry and this done. After the fight, the tank kept on screwing up a bit, losing aggro (he was a WAR btw) and we got to the room before the second boss and he trained a group of mobs to the room and got himself killed.
So...that wasted...about 5 or so mins right there. Anyway, we get to the second boss, and AGAIN, the tank does a 15 second countdown, and again me and the other 2 guys started the fight without his slow behind. Apparently, he must have been really pissed off cause the boss arena was sealed off and he just stood there, but it didn't matter as our healer was a champ and healed me and the other dps. Halfway into the fight, the tank pops into the arena (via the new option since 4.3's launch) but by the time he popped in the fight was basically over.
So on the way to the final boss, the tank must've had a grudge against me or something cause he pulled another large group of mobs (including those seahorse lookalike mobs who use that random water spray skill) and tanked them right on top of me. I assume he did that to "teach me a lesson" by having me die so can avenge his lost pride or w/e but I wasn't having that crap and neither was the healer and the other dps. We got through it though thanks to our awesome healer (I forgot his name now ><).
We made it to the final boss and I think the tank must've finally got the message that we want to get this done fast cause he didn't countdown, he just went right into the fight. We got through the fight and he left immediately afterwards. Me and the others said our goodbyes and the instance was done and luckily I was able to get in that extra roulette just in time cause me as well as my expert roulette healer and dps made the run quicker, despite the fact that the tank was a butthurt troll the whole time.
Just really bad tank. I think the other dps was a Ninja and geez he did better at tanking than the WAR! I have this pet peeve about tanks who do these countdowns in 4 man runs. We are all rdy, we are moving, stop wasting our time and do your job. I mean 8 man and 24 man runs I can understand the countdown, but for 4 man's it's a waste of time and it's beyond annoying and my fellow pty members, excluding the tank, agreed with me, thus we got run done basically without him.
Everything worked out and we all lived happily ever after.
The End...or is it?
