When I played bard around HW launch, kept getting told to play MP song. Could be they got told a lot too.

I had this happen to me when LotA first came out. Had a healer insist I play ballad full time for them. They didn't like it when I told them no.

And then you wipe us in a DPS check. Mana Song bards during Nidhogg's add phase while everyone is on healthy mana, perhaps someome under weakness and/or getting hit by that untankable dragon, and here we have our wipe. Thanks dude ._.

I actually had some Tank players back in 2.X hold the entire group hostage because he did not want to run a dungeon with a new player as he said his "time was more valuable to deal with this **** new player" so he told us to kick him so he does not have to suffer the time penalty for quiting. Some Tanks did completely nothing when they saw a new player and said nothing so the group assumed he/she was AFK but in reality he/she was just sitting there hoping we would kick them for being AFK to avoid the Time punishment.

There was also the time when a Tank actually told us to Vote Kick the New Player because he was new.

It's people like that where I was we had a cross server blacklist that prevented those people from queueing with you. Not only would they eventually enjoy longer queue times, but would be greeted by their equally toxic peers.

Sadly, this is actually further proof a jump potion won't matter. Those people had to go through the entire story, plus level at least one job all the way to 60, and they didn't once bother to learn how to play properly. Nothing you implement will ever convince them to learn unless the content is so hard, they can't actually do it.

It's the same with healers and tanks - whatever they do, someone just says they're doing it wrong ^^ Just... don't play an utterly unnesseccary song ^^'
