Please increase the item level and the stats of the item level 80 relic weapons because they are very similar with the weapons that titan HM drops, just increase them to item level 85 like the way you did with the allagan weapons to item level 95 which in turn you have to increase all of the zenith relic weapons and allagan weapon stats a little more to even them out.
Please allow us to meld one or two materia max to all relic/allagan and primal gear.
Please allow us to have the option to change the color of the glow on our zenith relic weapons.
It would be nice if you could remove DoL and DoH ilevel 55 gear from GC point exchange.
Or have it in another exchange list, however I don't see anyone exchange there ilevel 55 DoH or DoL gear pre level increase.
I now building my 3rd set of DoL/DoH hear and I fear using GC exchange because I get a item I want to exchange but it's in the middle of the list.
May I suggest that all parties in an instance share an enmity list. For mob heavy duties like Castrum, it's very annoying to have someone attacking an ally, but not be on my enmity list. This also happens with some adds during boss fights.
This! A thousand times this. One whole inventory tab on my character is filled with different types of bait.
Oh and off topic or maybe not, can we get a /visor option for the White Mage traditional costumes that puts the hood piece up to look more like the way the new minion wears it? I'd love to look a bit more FF1 classical.
Please group PvP player closer in rank level.
I was starting out ya I know content has been out for close to 2 weeks but been busy.
But when my team get killed in 43 seconds of i75 War, i74 BRD well geared other 2 only to find out using lodestone that I'm going up against 3 rank 20, and I'm rank 2. It's a little discouraging. Ya I didn't think I was going to win my 1st time out.
I would sooner wait a little longs for a chance to win vs getting my pity 10 wolf marks.
Please allow us to mine or fish for all levels of the cracked materia and then trade them in.
Please create some way to bring our spiritbond gear back to zero ether from a new disciples of the hand class or from a npc so I can trade them.
When I heard the aesthetician was coming in 2.1, I was overly excited and hopeful when I saw some of the pics of hairstyles that was to come. But once I got into the hairstyle options, I was really disappointed. I see that the Miqotes got the popular Hyur hairstyle, but Hyur's didn't get any other race's hairstyles or anything new other than Lightning's hair. I thought it was going to be an overall race hairstyle swap. So I really, REALLY hope they implement this in future (near future, pls ;~;..) updates. I was dying to have the Miqo'te ponytail for Hyurs...

has anyoen said anythign about crafting?
what i mean is, when crafting higher level items if the Recipe calls for another item that you have to craft and you do not have it ATM, then i should be able to click the item and be taken directly to the crafting page for said item. i don't really want to have to go looking through every level rang to find the one item i need.. ESPECIALLY as you get higher in crafting levels the number of itmes you can make can get rather long and some items can be easily missed.
some might say just realize what material you need and go to that level range ( I.E if i need some type of bronze armor or item then i should go to the 6-10 range ) but that list can get quite long to look through even as you get higher up in crafting levels.
Since this thread gets so much attention, I would like to shamelessly plug my feature feedback/request, located in this post: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...20#post1735220
In a nutshell, the command: /chotbar set "Some Action" # slot
... should be possible with pet and companion actions, now that they are also macro-able.
Please and thanks, life as a summoner is almost perfect, just missing these changes to bridge the gap to fully flexible setups.
I am disappointed too.. The elezens didn't even get the lightning hair. All they implemented to the female elezen hair I think is the lalafel ponytail which doesn't fit quite right on an elezen. I was hoping to see longer hairstyles. That's how I seem to picture elves... With long flowing hairs.Quote:

I also hope they can implement a wider selection of hairstyles for different races in the future. Including curlier or wavier hair.
More inventory space. That's all I want.
Pets:
Here's the thing, we can only have one pet out at a time. I cannot have Eos and Selene out, so having two separate sets of abilities for each is fairly redundant. Both have Embrace, yet I have to set Embrace twice for both of them. All pets abilities are "shared" in the sense that they have two Lv.1 abilities, a Lv.20 ability, and Lv.40 ability and (for Summoner), a Lv.50 ability. Rather than having to set Contagion, Landslide and Flaming Crush, we should be able to set one Lv.40 ability which changes to the corresponding ability depending on which pet is summoned. Same for all the pet abilities. The special Pet Hotbar already kinda does this, but I dislike using that, a lot...
I'd like to control my pets a bit more, but the current UI just makes for an annoying cluster of abilities... I dread to think what I'll do if Summoner ever gets Ramuh, Leviathan and Shiva-Egis and I feel the urge to set another 15 pet abilities down...
Gear Sets:
It would be nice if Gear Sets remembered things like the weapon/head gear toggle. Heck, it'd be nice, since we can now toggle the character display window, if that gets saved, too. I enjoyed playing around with that, then it didn't get saved.... Kinda sucked...
Repairs:
On the repair window, please add a Gear Sets page as well. Right now if I want to repair my Bards gear, I have to go through all the Armory pages looking for my Bards gear. It's annoying. Heck, it's annoying to have to switch to crafters to repair in the first place. If Gear Sets also showed up on this window though, at least all I'd have to do is switch to Weaver and repair all under my Bard Gear Set, then switch to Goldsmith and do the same, etc. etc.
You can keep another retainer, therefore more space :D It could be more, but I think they have at least 5 pages of inventory space (lol sorry for uncertainty). Max you can have right now is two retainers. But that's plenty of space. There's also company chests that are handy but is meant to be shared with your FC.Quote:

<job> should show Job and item level, Warrior <50> item lv 75.
<exp> would be nice aswell, YYYYY/XXXXXX
Yes, please add this. It's especially annoying for ranged DPS. As an archer I tend to stay back behind any melee characters in the party, but this makes it hard to target any new adds that show up or sometimes even to see that there are more adds besides the mob I'm already fighting.
You mean the spiritbond, or reset the fact that the item is bound to you? If you mean you want to use an item as long as you're at the right level for it and then unbind it so you can sell it to another player who can then do the same, then absolutely not.
What would happen then is that the same few items would stay in circulation forever and there would be no reason for anyone to acquire more. Nobody would ever have any reason to craft an item if there are already more than are needed, and who in the world would run a dungeon a dozen times trying to get the fabulous drop of item X if item X can be picked up at the market board for 2 gil because more of them have dropped than there are characters currently wanting it? You've wiped out crafting (for anything other than consumables) and you've wiped out equipment as a viable loot drop.
In order for the game to be able to continue, there needs to be a continuous demand for new items to be created for every new character who needs them.
I can understand having only a certain number active at a time and letting us have some choice in which to activate, but it would be nice to get rid of that 24 hour timer. Have the FC leader or officer choose a perk to activate and then just leave it active until they decide to change it to something else, regardless of whether that's two hours later or two weeks later.
Oh yes, please. This would help a lot. When I want to craft I usually have several final items to make and each one has several intermediate ingredients, each of which I have to find the recipes for in order to figure out which basic materials I'm going to need. (And then I'll get part way through and realize I missed something, so have to head back to the summoning bell or a merchant to pick up some extra ingredients.) I'm in favor of anything that can make it easier to sort out what's needed.
That would help. Actually, this hassle of finding the items to repair is the main reason I rarely bother repairing my own equipment. Even if it costs a little extra, it's currently simpler to go to an NPC and have them repair everything in my current equipment. I'd like to be able to sort out what to repair easier.
I'd like it to let us select things like "show everything in gear set 1 that's repairable by a leatherworker" or "show me all items whose condition is below 20% and are repairable by a weaver". The armory chest categories are useful when equipping items, but not when repairing them.
Let us leave the retainer's inventory window open while checking other windows. The majority of my retainer's inventory is crafting ingredients, and I'd like to be able to reference my crafting log while choosing which items to pick up. The usual pattern is currently:I'm not asking to be able to craft directly with items in my retainer's inventory (though I know others have asked for that), but please let us see what it is we need to pick up while we're also on the window to pick it up from. Don't require that we have to dismiss our retainer just to look at other windows.
- open crafting log
- check ingredients for the first recipe I'm interested in, finding I'll need ingredients A, B, and C (among others).
- close the crafting log
- use bell to summon my retainer
- acknowlege her greeting
- select that I want to transfer items
- pick up ingredients A, B, and C
- close the retainer window
- acknowlege her farewell
- open crafting log
- check for the next ingredients I'll need, finding I'll need ingredients D, E, and F.
- close the crafting log
- use bell to summon my retainer
- acknowlege her greeting
- select that I want to transfer items
- pick up ingredients D, E, and F
- close the retainer window
- acknowlege her farewell
- open crafting log
- check for the next ingredients I'll need, finding I'll need ingredients G, H, and I.
- close the crafting log
- use bell to summon my retainer
- acknowlege her greeting
- select that I want to transfer items
- pick up ingredients G, H, and I
- close the retainer window
- acknowlege her farewell
- open crafting log
- check for the next ingredients I'll need, finding I'll need ingredients J, K, and L.
- close the crafting log
- use bell to summon my retainer
- acknowlege her greeting
- select that I want to transfer items
- pick up ingredients J, K, and L
- close the retainer window
- acknowlege her farewell
- get fed up with all this going back and forth and decide to just get started
- begin crafting
- get stuck because I didn't pick up the rest of the ingredients I needed
The crafting log is the most common and obvious example, but it could also apply to checking our quest journal to see whether we already have items we need for crafting/gathering leves, or checking the "timers" window to see what items have GC supply missions. I can even envision wanting to check the character window to compare our current gear to some that our retainer is holding. Basically, just allow our entire menu of UI windows to coexist with the retainer's inventory window.
You can have multiple windows open at the same time. I usually greet my retainer, select inventory trade, then open the crafts window (keybind is N), choose the profession I'm crafting for, start withdrawing all necessary items as I make my way down the recipe lists. At no point do I have to dismiss my retainer as I'm shuffling through windows.
I hope that helps? Um... alternatively, you might find it useful to use this extremely awesome website, craftingasaservice.com... You pick which trade and what span of levels you are crafting for and it brings up a mat list of every possible item required for each recipe. It tells you which mats to gather, an estimation of how many you'll need... it also has an "other" category for mats like meats, skins and things that have to be found as opposed to gathered. And lastly, it tells you what to "pre-craft..." things like how many circles of leather or quicksilver... things you'll need to complete the actual list of crafts to get you through your desired level range.
I hope this helps you in your future crafting endeavors... Hopefully I didn't misunderstand the problem with the retainers and extra opened windows, and if I did, then hopefully the website will help so you don't have to use your craft log to find out what other items you need.
Let us be able to dye the Coliseum gear, and let us dye gear in more than one area, so you could dye for example the chainmail of a cobalt haubergeon blue and the pauldrons red.
I guess it's platform specific. On a PS3, summoning a retainer will automatically close any other windows you have open at the time, and the main menu from which to open windows is disabled until the retainer is dismissed. So yes, it's necessary to go through that ridiculously cumbersome summoning and dismissing pattern I described above just to check other windows for what to pick up.
It's not even a limitation of the PS3 hardware itself, which is quite capable of displaying multiple overlapping windows at once. Nor is it a controller issue, as FFXIV already has an established pattern of using the controller's Select button to switch between windows. It's just that they wrote the software to not allow it in this case.
It is true that the screen would be very cluttered if other windows were open (especially the crafting window, which takes up most of the screen just by itself). Just due to the lack of screen real estate, the windows would have to overlap each other. But that's fine. Let them overlap and just bring the selected one in front as we cycle our window selection around. It would certainly be better than the awkward pattern we have to go through now. It's really annoying that we have to put up so much repeatedly summoning and dismissing of our retainer just because some designer didn't like the asthetics of a cluttered looking screen.
Wow, that's a really great site. Thanks.
I wish if they change the stats numbers to something the conmon gamers and not some math wiz can understand
Se is it too hard to change 400 accuracy to 12%? Ex.
Also Why Why our FC crests ones we put on our gear nevee show when we enter dungeon or raid
It would be nice to see the quest areas of Your party members in a different color on Your map.
Anyone noticed how u can use drake, mount from amalja quest ans have ur chocobo mount out the same time if it was possible why SE doeznt let us use differents and have our companion chocobo out?
Please address the forced Crystal Tower drops.
Everyone in my party left the instance and i was forced to obtain a Dragoon body piece. I do not want to gear my DRG because i never use it pretty much for anything. This week i wanted to farm CT for either MNK feet or Healer body.. i did not under any circumstance want this DRG body. I saw the stats and they looked nice and i was looking at the gear, in that time boom my entire party left and i got stuck with this body piece.
PLEASE ADDRESS THIS THANK YOU :D
also.. why are you guys are turning this into a wish list post
For the auto translate dictionary: please add Hydra, Chimera, and "adds"; please remove "The" from dungeons' names in the list.
It would be nice to have all towns, not just those with crystals, in the dictionary.
Please find a way to resolve the problem of people getting vote kicked before a dungeon even starts just because they use the auto translate feature/speak a different language.
Macro needs to be smarter.
/ac X
/ax Y
now runs X then Y but if you run another macro or the same one before it finishes, you never know which action will be triggered. Implement branch function to prevent this. Like
/ac Y; X
will now run X or Y once triggered and finishes right there while X has more priority.
No more mouse over heal macro hiccups, Ruin I instead of Ruin II problems.
In pvp tie your hotbar to your item set instead of your class/job so that when you switch to PvP gear you also get your pvp skills on your hotbar.
Would be totally awesome if when you were in your armoury chest and was on say LTW things like hero's belt (basically items the class you have currently equipped can repair) were lit up.
Its a major pain right now trying to find the items my class can repair when they are all darkened out.
please consider this. Thank you.
I was in crystal tower yeah? Just beat the final boss right? the loot list was up.. and i was looking at the gear.. in that time my entire party left the instance and i didnt press any lot buttons yet and it forced the loot into my armoury chest. I didnt know i had to press pass ASAP or else this would happen.
Please allow us to dye all gear so we don't all look similar and my main reason for posting this is cause I don't want to spend my myth allagan to wear that pink bard item level 90 shirt.
Please add higher level darklight gear then item level 70 and looks different soon or by patch 2.2
Please add a tackle box that holds our fishing bait and a materia chest that just holds materia and give us more companions to choose from then a chocobo.
A refresh button for the party finder feature would be nice, that way you don't have to close and reopen the window to refresh it.
I'd like to see overflow Mythology converted into Philosophy. Seems to add insult to injury being capped in the first place only to watch hundreds of points go the way of the dodo on a weekly basis.
I don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but I'd like to see (or hear, rather) different sound effects when walking on plate boots. They sound like regular shoes right now, which is a bit odd.
