Please get rid of surplus SP

It wasn't that way before.

Basically they are saying "here, have a cake ton of SP for very little work, instant gratification! But wait wait, not so much, don't choke on it". Leveling has become a lot more fun since they pumped up the SP, but it'd be over way too fast if there was no surplus.
There's a difference between PUNISHING and BALANCING. SE is just making sure you don't choke on the double layered cake they are giving you.

People need to stop obessing about getting their jobs to 50 and start focusing on creating a well rounded character with skills from every other job. And even doing other things.

This isn't called rush-to-the-top-XIV. And hey, if you wanna rush to the top go ahead, no one's stopping you. They are just making it harder. Why do they need to facilitate it for you? They are already giving you mad SP.

The fact is it makes this game look bad. Balancing they can do without this horrible feature that has people running from this game. Give less exp.. Let me play longer. Clear the name of this game.. Get rid of Surplus then BALANCE AWAY!

r1 to r10 in 10 minutes is a very bad example because we get a SP boost from 1 to 24(?). It's in the patch notes of some update ago when/after they increased the SP.

Let me get this straight, Pandataru. You want your 20k SP, but at the same time you want suplus? Do you know that those two do not work together?

So either we all OD on SE's double cake SP then go cold turkey for a week (in which i will lose interest and play something else).. Or you.. get rid of it SURPLUS! And what was it you said? oh yea... BALANCE IT!

Stop repeating some of the lame comments you read in this thread and go rank up your jobs above r20. You'll see that the SP change a lot past 24. no more 1k SP a mob unless you linked leves. Leve link is a add of how many runs you would have done without leve links, not actuall SP.
Want to go back to the 50 SP a mob, and that for ALL mobs? Let's nerf it back then! /sarcasm.
