It's MY poor time management skills that it takes 30mins to run to Skull Valley from Limsa and back again??!!

20mins+, where the hell is that, even uldah to camp tranquil doesnt take 20 mins... do people even play this game anymore? like i said before from one end of Thanalan to the the rend barely takes 15 mins. I think people are misleaded by the exaggerated map in this game, have any of you seen the speed of your cursor on the map move when u run?
If you need anima to travel to Horizon, Drybone, Bluefog from uldah, where all within 7-10 mins,... sry it seems you used anima way too much and let ur imagination run wild.
exactly, why are you running to a camp to do one leve and then running back to town? couldnt you have planned that trip a little better? Thats like going the hardware store then home then back to the grocery store which is right next door to the hardware store then back home then to somewhere else in town then back home instead of planning your trip to do all three before going back home.
ummm...sorry but thats gross exaggeration, it takes me 10mins from Leve counter to skull valley. You must follow the path like a train follows its tracks.
Counter to Bloodshore is more like 15mins for me, ul'dah to drybone/horizon 7-10mins, Grid is probably the worst 10-15mins to either emerald or tranquil
I'm ALL for the removal of it. And for the casuals, I'll settle on having to be by an aetheryte to teleport
This comment proves that gameplay and content should really have priority over changing how people travel. You are an advocate for limiting teleportation, yet you say here that If there were events and rewards for people who walk that teleporters miss out on, teleporting wouldn't be as much of an issue.
I can't speak for the others in favor of anima, but this is the base of my argument. I'm not against the concept of traveling, I'm against long boring travel in this empty world. The sad truth is that having anima hasn't and won't kill this game, the game itself is responsible for that. People don't play games that aren't fun, simple as that.
Also in response to this, it's important to remember that this small argument in this thread is not an accurate representation of the games population. Just because there are only three people on this side here does not reflect how many people who play and their opinions.
Also keep in mind that these forums tend to attract the more hardcore/"I enjoy when games punish me" type of player, from my experience. The more laidback gamers might not see this, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there playing.
