This is utterly ridiculous. 3.5 hours of sitting here pointing and clicking. Witnessing every error this game can throw at me as to the reason I can't log in. Finally am able to log in....only to get booted with some 9000 error less than 6 minutes of entering.

Then back to the same crap!...12 years of FFXI and roughly 2 years dealing with this and I am on the verge of throwing in the towel and saying goodbye!

/raise ...first time I've never been able to see my character though its strange

I've been trying for about 2 hours. I took a break to do homework, read for class, do work for an internship, move furniture for family members, and cleaning. So, I've met the, "omg go work out or be social" requirement of those who refuse to see that FFXIV has a huge problem.

I think I'll try for another hour here shortly. I've been told that being unable to sign in is a sure indicator that the game is a massive success!

I dislike getting the 1017 error and then when I try to come back in the NA/EU World List can't be generated. This is such aggravation.

Almost half of the time I couldn't even get the character list, this is... outrageous

*raises left hand since right one is too tired from clicking* I give up for today, just too many people. And I have had only one other person admit to remembering what WoW was like at launch. Just slightly better than this. Problem was solved when they started adding the servers which will be happening here tomorrow. The issues we might run into is not being able to play with friends. I have some that didn't get in and not sure they will be able to on my server. I know some will just not play.

Mom, can I rage quit? Can I post bad words in the forum? Pretty please...

It would be enough if they let get the ppl into an Queue.
And i heard something like that even exists!! But it may be like the Yeti, just an imagination from someone.

But seriously, did someone found an official explanation regarding the disabled queue?

The queue is bs...ive had it put me in it a couple times rather than just bein booted...but it will be some large number like 200+ but than all of a sudden im just randomly in.

Keep in mind i mean literally maybe twice. Rest of time its just the boot...if my character will even show up at all in the first place

Its not that bad I've been able to lvl to 19 and a salt to lvl 9.I hope the complainers go and you don't get stuck with upgrading for nothing.

Raise all hands and feet ,i am still trying to log in where my neighbor keep playing and levelling up his char to max....that is somehow funny..:D

Now i'm start to thinking how about SE shut down all server until they finish upgrade with new patch and the server capacity then re-boot all ppl char from 0 again..so there will be no ppl whose keep trying to log in while other ppl keep levelling up ;p...surely it will give total "re-BORN" for Realm Reborn.....( Need Chaos to generate Order.....)

The only time I've been able to play is from like 1am-5am EST.

Well i tried 2hrs straight and finally got in and were then able to raise my culinarian from lvl18 to 21. Now its bedtime and i DID logged out of the game :). Hopefully after wednesday it gets better!

I fought this battle two days ago, havent logged out since. Don't get mad at me cause you didnt do it too.

I can't log in at all? What is going on?

I've been trying to log in for about 6 hours now. I really wish they would have do some server restarts over the past few days to kick afk'ers off. But what would be too much trouble when you can just leave things as is until you execute order number 66.

I do not understand why they do not have a AFK kicking system in place as well as having a Qing system that works? Error 1017 is FAR FAR tougher then any boss in this game so far.

gotta love a log in warrior, won't be happy until the login lobby goes down.

I was playing since this morning. It was fun. I was having a good time. And just now a thunderstorm rolled in and flashed my power; so I got disconnected and now I can't get back in... and if it's anything like the past week, I might as well give up any hope of getting back in. I don't even have words to describe how frustrated I am at this point.
