I had to do /wait 3 rather than just wait 3 for mine to work.

Is there anyway to put together Divine Seal and Presence of mind into a macro, i havnt been able to get it to work. They are both instant cast.
My 911 macros:
the words in () mean they're from the translator thing
/p (tank) (Help me out!) <se.11>
I use that one for when I'm being targeted by every freaking monster on the planet and the tank is derping around fighting a fly swarm.
/p (Mage's Ballad) (Can I have it?) <se.1>
I use this when I get low on MP and there's a Bard in the party. It really helps because Bard generally don't pay attention to the parties MP much.
The <se.1>'s play a sound when you type it into a macro. It can be numbers 1-17 I believe?
I use the Cure ones on the PC but I have to say that you actually don't need macros on the PS3 to be an effective healer. I find it much easier and quicker to heal using the PS3 than I do on my PC. Typically I will select the main tank as my main target, then if anyone else needs a heal during a fight (which they inevitably do) I simply use the up and down to select them from the list and cast the appropriate heal and because I have the main tank as the main target, I then don't have to move back down to him/her/.
SE have done an amazing job of giving us a good PS3 UI for healers it has to be said, however it also has to be said, its certainly not as good as the PC when you are helping kill trash mobs or soloing when it comes to targeting.
I play with a PS3 controller on PC and I suggest turning on target filters in the configuration menu. Play around with it and see what tickles your fancy, they are customizable.
I like using the "Enemies" filter for fates and soloing. I also set up L1+(Square) as a custom filter to ignore everything except NPCs; it's great for targeting quest NPCs or other points of interest surrounded by players.
i still can't get the <mo> to work for me on either my WHM or my SCH. Anyone else having this issue? going to put in a ticket maybe. have copied and pasted most of the ones i find usefull here but the <mo> ones are the only ones that do not work. thanks in advance, and yes using party window to mouse over.
I have a Razer Black Widow Keyboard with the M1-M5 buttons and I am curious how you have those keys setup in regards to your pet and how you have any other pet abilities macro'd thru hardware macros as I also have a Razer Naga mouse. Would be a great help to me if you would be so kind. Thanks in advance. =)
I disabled error messages in a newly generated tab for this purpose only.
I have been having issues the macro in general also as you pointed out and then some, it just feels too clunky and it is very restrictive due to the nature of the commands in it.
It becomes an even bigger issue when you are trying to heal NPC's targets. It keeps healing us instead of the <tt> if the <tt> is found to be an NPC. I failed a single player mode storyline quest for the first time last night due to this issue where I had the mob targeted and it simply would not heal my <tt>, so I had to make a fresh Cure button with no macro after that and passed it np.
I think I am going to just stick with the <mo> macro for it. If there was a command you could put in at the bottom of the list to allow it to work just like the skill itself where it was not macro'd, it would be better and we would be able to remain more mobile.
Here a macro to land some DOTs, I use Thunder from thaumaturge
When the situation allows you to throw in your occasional attacks :)
/micon "Cleric Stance"
/ac "Cleric Stance" <me>
/wait 1
/ac Thunder <tt>
/ac thunder <t>
/wait 3
/ac Aero <tt>
/ac Aero <t>
/wait 1
/ac "Cleric Stance" <me>
otherwise I use rotations with Macro Cure and Macro Stone (they all have been posted already)
I am a low level Conjurer so I can use it.
Another one I use is with the shared skills from Arcanist :
/Micon Virus
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <t>
/ac "Eye for an Eye" <tt>
/wait 1
/ac Virus <tt>
/ac Virus <t>
/recast "Eye for an Eye"
even if the cooldown of Eye for an Eye is longer the last line will tell how much time left for next Eye for an Eye
When you get into the level 50 dungeons you don't want cleric stance in your macro neither do you want wait in it to be honest.
Your risk that you heal with cleric stance and 4 seconds wait total to apply some debuffs is a lot to be honest.
Is there a way to map macros to a keyboard key?im on ps3 and its a pain trying to save lies with the shared hotbar
For all those wondering how to use pet
Playing on ps3 and still trying out some bar macros and ran into this one. To help with fast bar changes for abilities I don't use often.
/chotbar change #
Just started using it but here is an example for my pet heal and then back to my main bar in one button.
/ac "sustain" <pet>
/chotbar change 1
More uses for /chotbar command I found at the bottom of this page. http://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Commands
I put some scholar healing to my G19's G keys for simultaneous healing with pet. Sucks this is the only way to do this. Wish there were some known pet commands.
They need to make it so your pet stays in standby when you manually give it commands tho. Sucks trying to make it do one thing and it decides to do everything.
Don't know if it was answered, and tbh I dont feel a need for it in party situations but the MO command. Is there any way to make it not heal myself on mouse over? I tend to rest my mouse close to my avatar
wow - I've been doing it the hard way, with the F keys. You guys are amazing, thank you for all the info <3 *mauls everyone with hugs*
Question, has anyone found a "stop cast" or "cancel cast" command? I would like to bond it to my Esuna so no matter what I'm in the middle of it'll stop what I'm doing and remove the effect.
Try: ( for single add aggro in dungeons and anywhere else )
/ac "Fluid Aura" <t>
/wait 0.5
/ac "swift cast" <me>
/wait 0.5
/ac "Repose" <t>
Try: (this for huge mob aggro in raids)
/ac "swiftcast" <me>
/wait 0.5
/ac "Holy" <t>
/wait 0.5
/ac "shroud of saints" <me>
/em Tanks get aggro from my binded adds
:) tell me what u think
I like the Holy one and have it as well but not sure I would waste a Swiftcast on Repose :)
You should have stoneskin on yourself at all times and you can easily take one or two hits. Fluid Aura also roots for a short time which gives you more than enough space to cast the Repose.
Yeah true I just thought I'd have it in situations where I have to rush Back to healing tank or group but I agree gonna swift Stoneskin instead; Thanks :)
What I use in boss fights as healer or caster to make dodging mechanics easier for me might be useful for you:
/ac "sprint" <me>
/wait 28.0
/ac "sprint" <me>
/wait 28.0
/ac "sprint" <me>
/wait 28.0
/ac "sprint" <me>
/wait 28.0
/ac "sprint" <me>
/wait 28.0
/ac "sprint" <me>
/wait 28.0
/ac "sprint" <me>
/wait 28.0
/em press sprint again
I find myself making macros warning ppl in teams about incoming attack is a lot more useful than making healing macros itself..
A macro I find useful is:
/focustarget <tt>
Since I leave myself targeting the tank most of the time this sets my focus target to whatever the tank is targeting. I then macro my offensive abilities (dots, energy drain, virus) to cast on my focus target first.
/micon "Virus"
/ac "Virus" <focus>
/ac "Virus" <t>
For sleeping mobs (I use this quite religiously):
/mk Ignore1 <t>
/ac "Fluid Aura" <t>
/wait 1
/ac "Repose <t>
The ignore sign is damn helpful for those who love to hit everything and their moogles.
The almighty powerful Swiftcast Raise:
/y DON'T DIE ON ME! I GOT YA!
/ac "Swiftcast" <me>
/wait 1
/ac "Raise" <t>
I play on the 360 controller on the pc, so dunno what else I can make use of atm.
Does anyone have a macro or method that will cycle through valid targets to be healed within a particualr range? I enjoy healing in FATE groups, and since it is not always easy to click on people, it would be nice to have a way to cycle through them to see who needs healing.
I did this in WOW PVP healing a lot and it was helpful (back in the old days before they came up with EZ mode healing methods)
