yeah im on hold right now with the support center i doubt they will talk to me....They should be able to give us new NA codes so we can play EA thats all we care about
Same. Up to 19 emails of the same EU code now.
This is some terribly worthless customer support.
I hope you get some sort of real response. Mention this thread while you're at it, so they can see that it's not just one or two people having the same stupid issue.

Well just tried calling SE and I get a busy signal..... I'm truly astonished that they still haven't come forward & apologized & tried to make things right. They obviously know about it, but say little to nothing about it. Getting really aggravated with this company's poor business ethics.

Are you sure you guys didn't preorder from an EU based site and now you're expecting NA codes to be magically available for you?

People are swapping codes since SE has so far done bugger all to address this issue. A NA region friend of mine had an EU code since Tuesday and is now registered for early access thanks to a very helpful EU player. Looks like the players have to do what SE refuses to.

This problem wouldn't even be a big deal if the codes weren't region dependent, or if maybe we could change our account region.
I have been having the same issue. I put in my order confirmation code and it just keeps spitting out the same EU code. I have checked to make sure everything says NA before submit it each time and every time it gives me the EU code. Seriously hoped obnoxious things like this would have ended with error 90000.

The 18 digit codes don't really do anything other than add the game to their social site and generate you a 20 digit early access code. The 20 digit code is really all that matters. It grants the preorder items and early access.
My advice is if you have a friend you trust who had no issues redeeming their 18 digit key, ask them to redeem yours for you and see if they can get you a good 20 digit key.
I'm pretty sure they "fixed" the part where people were getting NA codes after they got EU. Now it seems like it just retrieves your previously gotten codes instead of resubmitting it into the algorithm.

Solved my problem. After much frustration and trying every possible fix mentioned on forums/reddit I went back to my retailer. I was issued new code which finally yielded the proper NA code for me. Everything is in order now and I'm set to go.
I was in the same boat as everyone here this morning. I tried all the suggestions: re-redeeming, setting language, filling out profile, etc.
My suggestion (it worked for me!), although it's a painful one, is:
1) Open support ticket at support.na.square-enix.com.
** Provide your 6-3-6-3 code and your broken 20 digit code
2) Call US support center 1-858-790-7529 (during business hours!!)
3) WAIT! I was on hold for just under THREE (3) hours!
4) Give the tech who answers your ticket number, calmly and politely explain the problem, and answer any questions they have.
** I was asked where I preordered from, what URL the retailer told me to redeem at, what my 6-3-6-3 code was, what my incorrect region 20 digit code was, etc.
5) Tech will give you a new code (hopefully?) and wait on the phone while you enter it
6) Say "thank you!" and hang up; then relax until Saturday!
I cant believe this crap a lil more than 30hrs till EA and SE just keeps posting how we should all redeem our codes and all this other BS. Still stuck with an EU code :(
For peopel who ordered through the NA SE store, you can go to findmyorder.com, pull up your order, and push the big ol cancel button. Then just reorder it and get a new code.
hell you can do this with probably all online retailers since none actually bill you till the game ships.
