I'm well aware of SE inaction. I'm not mad, btw. I just think it's hilarious that people are willingly being disruptive and acting like they're saints.

Your emnity stance is level 10 as WAR which makes it not so useful when fates are below that
So blu isn't the problem, the particular players are. And denial of resources to other players is harassment/griefing and reportable under the ToS. Just start reporting the people who refuse to play nice. They are not allowed to do that., they agreed not to when they signed up and agreed to the ToS. You can attempt to talk it out with them, explain your side, and they can agree and be decent people. Or they can get banhammered.
Seriously. Reporting is not harassing someone. You only have to report because they are harassing you. If they didn't want to follow the rules, they could have chosen not to agree to them. They can uninstall at any time. They signed a contract, they refuse to uphold their end at their peril.
Regarding BLU in zones, I even tried hopping to the three different areas, all had multi blu parties that would wipe. All three zones were exactly the same. People are like oh use your stance (note some of these fates are below the level of tank enmity stance, such as level 3 and war's is a level 10 skill). No parties listed in party finder so "join up with them" didn't work in this instance. Hell sometimes it was different blu parties trying to pull all the mobs away from the other (one was hydro pull, 2nd blu ram's voice, 3rd blu ultravibration). I gave up after 3 fates in a row where I arrived at the same time and got nothing. Maybe lag was involved, I dunno but I'd hit an aoe attack as they spawned and it wouldn't even register, the mobs would just fly over to the blu, frozen immediately, and they pretty much died at the same time as they registered their frozen graphic.
All the stuff that's being perceived as "anti-blu" really seems to be asking for some courtesy to others playing the game with you. Personally I was hoping to be able to spread out doing all the collecting over time, like get a weapon or two one day, etc over the course of the event and leave more of my time for doing everything else. Now it seems I have to either time when I play to no on being around and take forever to complete them alone or wait til later in the event and then have to worry about doing them all at once when most people aren't doing them which likely affects their spawn times, completion times etc.
Oh and if you do get to a fate before a the blu train gets there, the difficulty is dialed up to a point where they'll finish a different fate on the other side of the zone and come to yours with enough time for them to complete with gold.
I have BLU at 80 already myself, but playing that as well would be me having to try to time it so my ultravibe killed their hydropull and freeze before their own does, making it worse for anyone who isn't in a blu party. And seriously ultravibing a level 3 fate.... come on.
It’s enough to just land 1-2 hydro pulls, white wind in might guard stance and you will get silver.
Mao nots thinking is griefings but is poorly designed event if some jobs has much harder times than others participatings.
My only complaint is that the boss FATEs even at low level really ought to be immune to instakills like Ultravibe and Lv 5 Death, but a surprising number of them aren't. That's a content failure and probably one SE will never fix.
Ya'll, we have access to 5 data centers at the moment and what...20+ servers? Can you not just...server/DC travel and go where there isn't a BLU pack going wild?
They should definitely not do that, Like I said earlier, Dynamis is particularly bad right now because BLU players are moving to Dynamis servers and doing their oneshot combo thinking they're the only ones in the instance, or I guess not caring if there are other players in there. When asked to stop usually they say nothing or think it's funny.
Moving DCs is not really an option when you're already on the least populated DC there is in NA. Seriously, there's so many Traveler tagged BLUs roaming around on Dynamis it's not even funny.
Materia is an option. I get 0 issues with ping on the East Coast outside of slight lag with gathering. Last I checked it's still a ghost town most hours of the day.
That still leaves 2 other data centers as well if Dynamis isn't an option anymore. I also highly doubt all of the servers available will have a BLU pack going at the same time or that would be some insane odds.
Do what you gotta do to make it work cause Square isn't gonna fix it or lock BLU out of FATEs because everything is ultimately working as intended and people have been navigating it for years now.

No idea why it copied my original comment, mobile things.
Trust me, they were all over Maduin less than an hour after the event started, it was the most activity I've seen on a weekday after midnight since people found out they could cheese easier wins for the Fall Guys event by traveling here too. Even days later some of them are still out there farming certain zones during peak hours, where a few of them don't even have a Yokai Watch on or minion out, giving the appearance that they're just nuking FATEs to mess with other people/making sure only their party gets any credit. (IE: There's Blue Mages out there who are already done with the event themselves, either before or just now, but they're still here helping their friends/FC mates from their home server by traveling here.)
It sucks enough I have to Data Center travel just to do Roulettes everyday because we're low population, only to then become pushed out of open world content on my home server because... well, we're low population, there's rarely anyone else around in these zones most of the time that cares if someone who is actually from Maduin has to wait until they all log out for the day, and that's assuming the Blue Mages even move on because, again, some of them are playing "nuke taxi" for other travelers from *their* servers with no regard to how it affects the "locals" and all the while I have people on the forums and social media telling me that *I'm* the problem and not them.
Again, at this point I really *really* just want Square to merge us into the other Data Centers because there's no upsides/all downsides for being low population like we are. And no, the whole "well you won't have to wait for queue times when Dawntrail hits at least" is ridiculous because everyone here knows darn well where all of the surplus from Aether/Primal/Crystal is coming first. This event is hands down the first time I've ever felt regret for joining Dynamis, and yet the general consensus seems to be "screw you, got mine, git gud".
Heck, most of why I finally signed up for the forums was to find out if maybe I *was* doing something wrong and there would be a solution here because the situation was getting *that* frustrating and there was no recourse to be found in-game, and I wasn't sure if anything any of these Blue Mages were doing actually counted as griefing since they seemed like skill effects they would normally have (and I wasn't about to get myself in trouble for making "bad" reports). I can't even get all of the weapons anyway because I'm only partially through Heavensward, but now even for the ones I *can* access I have to struggle extra hard for because Dynamis' "server identity" is a backwater hole full of runts that nobody cares about until we can be exploited somehow. Just... ugh, even this rant feels pointless...
Griefing aside the anti-social tendencies the players are exhibiting is making this event just feel even worse. No party finder groups. If you make one, nobody joins. If you ask for an invite, you don't get one. You can't get credit. Rinse and repeat. You know it's going to get easier with time, but the apathy it is filling you with is making character deletion sounds like a glorious release.
That's the last I'm gonna say about it.
Hope you find relief in which ever gameplay loop you desire.
As a Eureka Enjoyer, I can just see hoe Closed off it is.
And Sadly, since it is a Low Level to Mid Level Content.
Alot of New players or players who've yet to try or do not know of the systems cannot take advantage of it.
We can only hope to teach.

Ontopic as a Whole
So far it's gonna get worse. It gets worse right at the middle when less Players are around.
BLU mages for Good and Ill will careless on pumping the brakes on skill usage to only Dragon/Lightning Ring and Hydro Pull.
So you'll see more Crazy spells and Quick Progress.
But those who delayed one week or a month will feel the brunt of it.
Once things Build Up steam one month away from Dawntrail with Returning players will BluLess Player counts go up, and so will their restraints.
[Funny how in other places I said this, people lacked to the reading comprehension to understand it. But I do not truly care for their take from misunderstanding. as I know full well that BLUs in Yokai Collab are neither good or bad. But Case By Case. and I'm not wrong.]
edit:
If need clarify further.
Less players who don't have a High skill blue the longer the days go by. The More they Reign without Care of others. Good Cause less players to take a hit. Bad cause those who decided to wait a week or more will suffer cause of their choice to delay. 1 Month <-> Dawntrail Expac Day will fill with players, and become easier to avoid Insta BLUing due to the higher PF rates of last minute Grinders.
All in All, Hope all are Entertained in which ever way they decide in these months til the Trail of Dawn.
It's even moreso a problem for new players than for veterans. I see them complain about it all the time and they're right to do so. They don't have the level or access to higher levels of BLU builds and spells to align themselves on other players. Even when they have unlocked mount flight, they still arrive on site after the fates are done.
The other problem is that fundamentally people using BLU are only doing it out of laziness and not effectiveness, because it still takes time for FATEs to respawn anyway so everybody sits twiddling their thumbs for minutes between spawns no matter the job used.
Fates and open world combat are the only places a BLU can play outside of boring logs and carnivale. It's fun to play. Not all BLU's are giant jerks trying to suck up all the fun for everyone. I did the event as BLU because it's the only time I'll play it, for fates (events and to get my all elezen squadron). I would hydropull and stand there and still people would complain.
was out today and saw the trains of rude players in game this is nothing new and has nothing to do with blues jobs it has to do with bad self centered players who put their needs above other players.
Exactly. I would create PFs, and shout every time that I made one. I had one person shout back that I stole his golden something and another person shout that I should just follow where everyone is going. No one wanted to team up. It was like some sort of competition on who could finish this event first.
Point being, it might be less hectic for NA players to get their progress in Materia if it's during your off hours.
Side note I recently revived my Materia alt and even during off hours, still has been a chill place to be in. Looking forward to making it into my 2nd home.
A thought:
Are we so starved for new content that the "new content" (i.e. Yokai rerun) is making everyone feel like they need to rush and absorb it all as soon as possible?
I don't remember this being as big of a deal in ShB's rerun, yeah you had BLUs but you were still able to get your FATEs done. I gave up after a few days not because I couldn't do FATEs but because the event was so dull. XD
So what is the difference between now and then?
I travelled to OCE/Materia on my BLU and had entire maps to myself. LOL
Oh yeah, definitely, I can't begin to imagine how this must look and feel to newer players, of which we just got a notable influx due to the Xbox thing. It's rather ironic even that some people were doomposting that letting Xbox players in would "bring toxicity" that they claim didn't exist before, and yet... it's longtime established players on their Blue Mage that are acting poorly right now.
And I don't know if it's effective or not, but I've been trying to do the FATEs as DPS because it means I often *can't* just spam an AOE to slaughter everything before anyone else can tag anything due to syncing taking away said AOE skills, or how the single boss mobs take awhile to chew through in the rare times I end up doing those kind of FATEs with no Blue Mage in sight or their spells fail to nuke the boss (and I guess have a long cooldown so they can't spam it? I'm not entirely sure what all spells Blue Mages are even using).
I personally think it is badly planned out anyway.
We have two newbies in the FC who still have to complete the story. But now they basically have to grind Yo-kai, because the don't have any of the rewards. Then grind the Gold Saucer, because they don't have any of the rewards. And then grind the Moogle Tomes, because they don't have any of the rewards.
When are they going to complete the story?
Meanwhile I myself have all the Yo-kai weapons and mounts, have everything you can buy for MGP (and my MGP are also capped) and there is most likely nothing in the upcoming Moogle Treasure Trove I am missing.
So I have nothing to do - and they have to work overtime.
First Yo-Kai event for me i.e started with zero Yo-Kai items while using Samurai. Farmed on Dynamis / Aether mostly alone cause I randomly afk to much to join parties. After " 4 days " I was completely finished obtaining all Minions/Weapons/Mounts/Achievements. Droprate on legendary medals not being guaranteed can feel bad and that's kinda it for me. The amount of cooperative players I met simply outweighs the griefing once for me to care about them.
Bluemages are purposefully made imbalanced. So anywhere I see a Bluemage being allowed? I expect x to be imbalanced. In this case? Griefing Bluemages will probably negatively impact new / inexperienced players the most cause some players can't help but want toparse/optimize... a Yo-Kai event at the cost of other players enjoyment =u=;
What would be a huge improvement and what I still wish for? is a " Auto-Level-Sync Toggle Feature " so players don't need to constantly press Level-Sync when they enter a Fate. This would also improve any Future event or activity revolving around Fate farming.
I am done with the event. Wish you all goodluck if you're stil going, mhm.
