That's what I noticed too. It looks bad on the slim races (Midlander, Miqo'te, Elezen, and Viera).

But it looks much better on the beefier male characters. I haven't seen it on Roegadyn yet, but I have on Highlander and Hrothgar. Au Ra looks pretty good too.

Does anyone have any pictures of male Roegadyn wearing the Omega M suit? I really want to see.

The outfit really makes you notice how slim male viera are. It's almost scary.

Though the outfit itself may also be reducing mass

No, it only means outfit was not originally design for PC.
When PC equip this gear, PC's original body has been replaced by NPC model.
This is also why it can't be dye because there is no alternative models.

This is not something new and you can already tell from 2B boot.
If a race such as Viera equipped this piece you can see it does not scale with the leg. (2B feet is much thinner)
It works on smaller race such as miquote, human, or au'ra, but not taller race

You can tell the difference from something create from scrap and something took from NPC from the pricing of Mogstation

It only covers the body (everything but the head) so I would assume you could. It comes with earrings, too, which are equippable on the head, obviously. :p

Yeah I just hadn't seen any images with a headpiece so I wasn't sure if for some reason the glamour was full coverage head to toe on the left side gear.

It looks ridiculously out of place for males, the only race it somewhat fits on would be Au Ra. Other than that it makes you so slim that the head looks oversized for the body...

Got the chance to try out the male version of the outfit...fixes are needed, the sooner the better. The 3d model is altering all body types in odd ways, while the texture quality remains high it's a bit difficult to look past the unusual proportions.

i already have a small body but that shit turns me into a Vanilla bean

christ take me now

pretty sure it's just how npc outfits are. Seems like they release them exactly as they were on the npc which is why they're not dyable like other premium outfits and sometimes are multiple slots or alter body shape a bit.
The minfilia one is still the only way to give a lala boobs since extra chest girth seems to have been part of it afaik

bummer about the hair though,omegas have pretty cool ones but they don't seem to add it to many npc sets

It's from Heavansward IIRC, it has one armored sleeve with the other arm completely bare... except for one small band at the top, In the exact same place the band from the Ravel and Caster PvP gloves have it.

That's definitely one, but are versions across a few different gearsets.

Eikon Leather = Casting, Maiming, Striking
Atrociraptor = Aiming, Scouting

So that's all the DPS types covered. No versions for tanks or healers currently though.


And yeah, if you look at the armguard model on Garland Tools (under the 3D tab), you can see the whole right arm is treated as part of the "glove".

I think my thing with this game, is why is certain pieces of gear dyeable and other pieces are not. I think this is a question i would like someone to ask Yoshi-P during a interview. Can we have all pieces of gear Dyeable.

I very much agree with this too, I think all clothing in game should be dyeable. I really think they need to upgrade their dye system in general

Yeeees, please. One of my many annoyances with the glamour system is how SE constantly uses custom colors on undyeable gear, but then none of the dyes we have access to actually match it :/

Just like I figured. The beefier dudes look so much better in the Omega outfit. The male races with wider torsos benefit from the cinched waists.

That looks phenomenal. I really like it. Thanks for sharing!

I found out yesterday that Elezen has it too lol.
I've played since ARR and had no idea I always thought it was unique to Miqo'te.

I made a bug report about the outfit proportions, so if anyone wants to chime in with feedback about their specific character then please do so.

Highlander looks pretty good, but you can definitely tell that the body has shrunk when you have a weapon sheathed. It hovers around you with no contact at all.

LOL that's almost every weapon on Roegdyn M tbh. Even some of the shoulder pads on certain armors are just floating with no contact on the armor proper. But yea it's sadface times whenever ya see it =/

I know the weapons are always kinda floaty anyway with all of the races, but it's extra bad with this glamoured because it sucks in the body even more but the weapon placement is still the same.
