Better finish Delubrum now because it will dead cotent very soon

Delub speed runs are incredibly fun. No Worries, SE will put incentives in there if they really really need us to revisit the content later. There are still people doing Eureka and Discord groups to arrange the use of content that is hard to populate.

This is about the savage version right? RIGHT?

Delubrum was a ton of fun! It's also good that people are learning the mechanics because of the penalty over dying instead of just relying on their teammates and getting carried. Honestly though Mettle is so easy to earn, what's the problem with losing some?

The only real problems I find with DR is mainly the Trinity Seeker and its fire and ice blade attacks being hard to see due to them sometimes being cut off my screen until its too late to see it and adapt.

Delebrum is fun once you learn it, but unless it's added to a roulette somehow, it will wind up dead.

As a melee you basically need to change your camera angle, the first boss in Ridorana Lighthouse had the exact same problem.

All Eureka content is doing just fine today, I'll just leave it at that.

Considering BA is successfully ran daily on Primal, I'd say the Savage DR will still be fine. Still will take the usual organization to get runs but they added the ability to go down to 24-man because of new essences, valor, and people being more familar can make it possible without full 48. Now with less people in Bozja to farm clusters, and necessary essences, market board prices will definitely go up unless you farm them yourself.

A third party application should be the go to way to organize things.

Edit: Since I try to be positive. Get rid of the Doom mechanic completely. If you die from something then ok and take maybe a 10k mettle loss in the entire run but 70-100k is just not going to work. The boss mechanics are amazing and it is fun to learn but penalizing people so heavily is just ridiculous.

I mean you don't exactly need a 535 relic since the Endwalker's MSQ is gonna hand you level 600 stuff, or you're gonna change to Reaper/Sage.

Isn't this kind of proving the point, though? The fact that third party applications even need to be used because of the developer oversight in future-proofing content? Especially content they keep insisting on tying relic weapons to?

I feel that was why they designed Castrum and Dalriada the way they are over how it was done in Eureka's BA. To not need 3rd party organization for the majority of people. You also get echo in both of them if the party size is below 21.

DR Savage took the best of the limited resources of BA, with a savage mode, and made it a queue system over the free-for-all shout fights over people taking portals in Hydatos with 3rd-party organized groups.

Complete improvement over anything they done in Eureka.

Delumbrum is so great.
It lacks something to be truly the one big raid of XIV - Multiple routes.

You see each time these platforms and structures outside the corridor - Use them. Make it so each time you go in a diferent set of teleporters will activate - Taking you to diferent boss fights with diferent mechanics and combinations all times, ultimately reaching the Queen.

This is the closest this game has ever been to have something at least i could consider a TRUE RAID. Savage and Ultimate are merely boss fights.

And what exactly is your point though?

In 2.0 and 3.0 we were forced to grind old content for relic, and people cried how relic deserve its own content. And that's exactly they delivered in 4.0 and 5.0 - original content for relic ... and you complain about that. What, does doing those books and solo old dungeon for light is what you would preferr?

Also, there isn't much you can do to "future-proofing" in an MMO. The large bunch will always move to the latest content. Look at your daily roullete that still have you run content from 7 years ago, THAT is future proofing. I'll pick new original content any day.

Not everyone run these things because they want the relic, or done after they get their relic. It's not like they only drop relic tokens, the dev adds enough things along side it to make it have other uses such as gears, pets, mounts and other drops. I still ran for a bit after done with my relic because I can still make like 200k a day from the drop I got from it.

And lastly, your point about third party application doesn't stick either. We're in 2021, stuffs like that are simply part of the eco system pretty much for every games, even non MMO. You seem to suggest their usage is a sign of an issue. 10-15 years ago I have to stand shouting in Stormwind or Origamar for hours on several days to get enough interest and organize a run for old contents, so I'm sure glad I don't have to do that now if I ever want to run Eureka. They are simply modern day conveniences.
