90% of the Lalafel in the Main story makes me want to punt them all into the Limsa Ocean. Sea shall swallow all.
In my experience, I've only run into a small handful of friendly lalafel and I've met some really awful ones that I wish I never get put into content with again. It's 50/50 for me. Other than that I don't have an issue with them.

I think that’s just a by product of Ul’dah being the Lalafell town and Ul’dah also being full of objectively horrible people, baring a few exceptions. Punt the whole place and let Leviathan sort them out.

I feel you. I've been a lalafell since I've started. I've had a thing for collecting tiny stuff since I was a little kid, I just found them really cute. Tiny tea sets, tiny dolls, etc. So obviously I found lalas absurdily cute, and was excited to be one.

I've never liked wearing 'sexy' or 'revealing' clothes on my lala, mostly dressed her to look cute. And yet some people joke about how all lalafell players must be pedos and so. It's really uncomfortable and sad.

Just ignore them and be a proud lalafell.

On a side, but related, note, it annoys me when people tell me popoto jokes, or slap me, I been playing for so long it stopped been funny a long time ago xD

Tis what I'm doing now. My friend pointed out that not only did those people clear out, but no human has the potato shape lalafells have and almost every fantasy game has dwarfs, so anyone trying to push the idea that they look like children are more than likely projecting creeps. And I shouldn't let creepos ruin the game for me. They shouldn't be given any power.

I mean, you can say that. I don't particularly care what they are referred to personally, but there is no denying there is a clear artistic vision behind lalafell; they are meant to be ffxiv's interpretation of dwarves. Especially considering they are called dwarves on the first.

I'm not arguing that they look like the typical western depiction of dwarves, because their design is a little bit different, but they are still based off of dwarves nonetheless.
