I'm more than likely going to be one of those that tries viera for like 30 days and then go back to mooncat.

No ear animation will probably make the floppy ears in particular look really weird.

I feel almost guilty switching after seeing a graph of how rare Female Elezen apparently are. Viera however, are everything I like about Elezen and then some.

I loved when they sent out 3 1/4" floppy disks. They were easy to wipe and reformat, so hey, free floppy. Then they went to CD-ROMs and weren't as useful.

Oh please, the bunny girls are a temporary thing, the most common trait all MMO players seem to have is OMG A NEW RACE I MUST BE IT until the novelty wears off and people switch back, meanwhile SE will be swimming in money like Scrooge Mcduck. Besides, the viera look like someone smashed their faces in with a frying pan then tried to stitch it back together in the hopes no one will notice.

When a miqo complains about another races aesthetic it makes me giggle.

The game didn't force you to go Seeker of the Sun face one, or the tens of thousands of others who did the same.

And for all your complaining about Viera, I'd struggle to find a single one on the Show your Viera thread that looks as boring, default and bland as your miqo'te.

Y'all got same face syndrome because you all pick the same baby faces. Pick a different one, maybe. If I can look at a female miqo'te I randomly stood next to at the Gold Saucer and go "oh wow I've never seen that face before", same face syndrome isn't a race-wide affliction. You chose it for yourselves.

I've noticed this as well. Like there's no real reason to be so aggressive about other people race changing. So many people are like "oh yeah when the hype dies down you'll all be back" like chill let people try new things and see what they like. They get way too defensive about it.

To be fair that has more to do with actual trends and anecdotal statistics than hate. It's just a rule of thumb in mmos that new races come and go, but usually a large portion of people who switch, will be back on their original race in a few weeks / months after launch. And its usually not due to being agressive, but to be the guy who "told ya".

Don't worry. 1-2 days after early acces there'll be close to no female viera,you'll see one like idk, every 15 minutes? like female elezen (and fem elezen will go extinct tho) and male hrotgar will have taken over roegadyn, leaving roegadyn with 100 or so players, and you'll see one maybe ocne every 5 minutes

As someone who so loudly champions male viera I'm kinda surprised you think fem viera will become that rare. Also idk where you hang out but I see fem elezen plenty when I'm not running around the wilds and am in a city

I certainly welcome more racial diversity, but I also don’t found the comment “oh yeah when the hype dies down you'll all be back” defensive...hum...rather interesting I would say. Just look at how many thread about Viera before it was announced and how many thread about Viera not being the Viera they want after it was announced. There are certain hype in it, and to be honest I am always on team hrothgar. I personally don’t hate Viera, but I think I just don’t want to see all the effort dev put in go waste.
So I guess “the hype die down” comment sound more disappointing and sarcastic and yet probably true than defensive to me

Can give you the perspective of a not gorgeous woman and it is bad cause the chances of attracting criminal clowns that practice the crime of moral harassment based on a third party aesthetics is huge, along with other crimes.

I’ve never been attached to a race so far and the only one I haven’t tries is Roe.
I’ve always wanted to be a Viera and can’t wait to play one soon. Will just have to get used to the height compared to my smol Lala.

Oh yeah, most definitely. A struggling artist survives whichever way they can, and I am struggling for a fantasia. I have been looking at this Viera in my signature, and it would be a shame to let her go to waste!
